I'm just looking for any excuse to switch to bigger skis...also keeping my eye on Hallelujah. Skiing the groomer again today, trying not to be impatient after only five days on skies. Determined to be zen.

Yes, I know many places...but just going to ride the chair and do 10k hot laps. You got me thinking about taking a walk though.

NOAA's precip perdictions have us at normal chance in 8-14 days and 3-4 weeks out. Not looking great but better than the below normal we are currently in. It also looks like resorts will get more consistent snow making temps going forward from here so at least we can expect more top to bottom blue terrain to open.

anyone heading from Boulder County to Silverthorne/Dillon sometime soon and can transport something? I have a cargo area mat to get to Name Redacted, it's light and sort of foldable but might not fit if you drive a sports car.

More blue groomers would be good. It was significantly more crowded today than earlier in the week at Copper. I expect this weekend to be a full on zoo.

That works on my end if I can drop at your house this weekend (I'm going out of town for Thanksgiving week)? Not sure about NR, I'll let him chime in re the 24th (assuming me dropping off this weekend works).

Every once in a while Keystone gets a 14in day. And that's fun.

Ride the lift up and then back down after skiing the WROD on short and slow upper lift.

Hi Guys, how is Eldora typically on Thanksgiving Day morning for crowds and liftlines? Considering taking my 5 and 8 year old girls there who are ready for some blues after lapping greens all day yesterday at Winter Park.

With skis on? Unlikely. The last week has kinda turned the corner where the roads have become pretty sketchy so we are in a bit of limbo. Berthoud is probably your best bet. This is the time of year when I wish I had a fat bike.

Saw a facebook post from someone skiing off the ridge south of bobtail on the 19th, they said a few decent turns way up there, plenty of sharks, junky in the meadows. High res satellite from yesterday makes it look like road coverage is intermittent, hard to say for sure though. I'd come prepared to hike down but haven't been up there personally.

How does one get high res images from just a day prior?

Went up Jones a week ago. Told myself need 2in of water before going back. Road was carnage tore a buddies knee up when he got too frisky with skins on.

Buddy was up couple of days ago. Milked a few rocky turns up high but road still rough. Maybe if this storm really overproduces.
