Golden hour ride in South Sierras recently, Monache Meadow.

    Olancha Peak

It was a Wednesday so only saw a couple campers. Nice little ride.

Bought this earlier this season to coach track days on. So tasty. I always missed my dearly departed 899 and this delivers on all that more.

I picked this up last November as MY23 bike - 350 XC-F. It's serving as my desert and race bike with a bit of MX thrown in.

And I picked up this new-old beast last year and finally got around the cleaning out the tank, rebuilding the fuel system, and restoring the carbs. It's a barky, visceral machine. I love it. This winter, it goes in for an engine build which should make it a properly rowdy thing.

^^^ You have some really nice toys... I'm jealous. For me, no more dirt bikes, and just an old, fat, heavy, Harley.

Heh, thanks. That's only four of the nine bikes currently in the garage.

Picked this up today. 2007 KTM 450 EXC 8100 miles 271 hours. $1650.

Had to fiddlefuck around with some wiring for the lights and speedometer but should be a fun fall.
Headed to Moab tomorrow but unfortunately no registration yet and havent figured out a method to bring it with the boat. Not enough room on the trailer for both and need the cap on the truck.
Leaning toward front hitch and a tray. Anyone run their bike in the front while towing? Pros/Cons?

Yeah that was a consideration. I was thinking about mounting some harbor freight LEDs on the tray itself with a switch and quick disconnect.

I’m selling a great two stroke 300 trail bike, ready to go for fall mountain riding and desert season. I’m thinning the herd and end up riding my four stroke more often anyway.
    https://denver.craigslist.org/mcy/d/...656582298.html

And I’m also selling a WLF vest pack, for anyone interested in going that route. I switch back and forth every few years from a vest to a regular backpack. The WLF is the best balanced and most comfortable of the vest packs I’ve used. $125 plus shipping.

I finally got Ms CE to do an overnight moto trip. We went out into the desert to watch the eclipse, and found a hot spring as a bonus.

She did her 2 biggest days ever and first dual sport riding. She's super stoked on it, so maybe she'll be shopping for a WR250R or CRF300 or something soon.Click image for larger version.

Missed this earlier. I'm guessing you're referring to the Bayliss. it was still on the temp tag, which I keep in the tank bag or under the seat. They're still paper here, so that lasts about 15 minutes in the PNWet. The 900ss is plated.

Yeah! I got it from an guy here in Utah who had picked it up from our local tent maker. It’s a spring bar tent design. It feels really roomy inside when the camper is deployed. It also has a tidy kitchen zone up front where I put my river tripper hand washer pump in the kitchen sink. (The battery operated pump shown came with the van and used a ton of water)

It’s a pretty modest rig that gets me where I wanna go and it has held up well to various stormy conditions over the past two seasons. Here are a few more pics.

First pic was showing Mt Elliot from which we were denied due to being unable to execute the river crossing.

5moh! That thing kicked my ass so bad. Yikes.

Edit to add - hammered the dinosaur road last night. Click image for larger version.

Very cool, thanks for the pics. Pretty awesome to be able to access the sleep/kitchen area with all the bikes inside too.

Yeah! While I don’t think I stated it clearly, you are correct.

To date the trailer has been maxed w two motos, two MTB and all related camping gear and fluids and while it’s a little crowded, dinner and bed is possible (though cramped) without unloading.
