AC Milan v Genoa was entertaining, especially the last few minutes of regular time and extra time

Being the only guy to win championships in England, Spain, France, & the US as well as two CL trophies didnt come without repercussions.

I watched Botafogo - Palmeiras last night. One of the most fun games I've ever watched. They are 1-2 in the Brasileiro and a win by Botafogo would basically seal the title. I was watching to see Endrick, a 17 year old destined for Real Madrid when he can move next summer.

Botafogo dominates the first half. Palmeiras has some possession, but can't get out of their own half. Botafogo looks great scores several really nice goals including a rocket and a beautiful counter. They deservedly end the half up 3-0.

A few minutes into the second half, Endrick gets the ball going away from goal, turns and bursts between two pairs of defenders and scores. 3-1 Botafogo.

~75th minute, Palmeiras keeps pressing and a Botafogo defender brings down an attacker that is judged as the last man. Red card! Botafogo doesn't agree.

81~ minute, Palmeiras presses their advantage against 10 men Botafogo, but Botafogo catches them on a counter and is awarded a penalty. They have the chance to go up 4-1. But it is saved! Play flies down to the other side, and Endrick corrals a high clearance, does an insane dummy to fake the volley, stop his leg as the defender flies by, then uses his extended knee to basically dribble the ball off the bounce putting it around the defender and he steps and hits it into the far corner. 3-2. Here's a link to a replay that shows what he does. Subtle, but wild.

89th minute. Endrick sends a corner to the back post, it's headed back across goal and then in. 3-3.

9 minutes extra time.

98:30 - Free kick from the left for Palmeiras - It's whipped in to the far post. A Palmeiras defender gets there first and turns it in. 3-4. The final whistle blows on the restart. Pandemonium!

Just a super fun game to watch. I subscribe to Paramount + for the Champions League, but I've found the Brasileira fun to watch as well and it's on there too.

Looks like it was a fun match. Followed the score 2nd half. Couldn't find a broadcast of it on our Dish options. Table appears to be accurately representing those two teams.. City is just a little better..
