Oh, most definitely! When we all win the MegaJillions and I can throw endless cash at maintenance (and I have a lift), I'd be all over the Pantera, the F355 (I've actually driven one a long time ago - 10/10 would bang again), the Esprit (in its final glorious form with the V8 TT), and that sexy BMW 850i. Always loved that one, but know I couldn't swing maintenance costs in my current state of broke.

For real. Mine was rock solid. Put over 80K on mine with zero issues. Ran good as new with full compression and no leaks when I sold it. I too am getting tired of the antiquated knocks against the platform.

Should (theoretically) drive under its own power. Well, it better at least because I have about a 1200 mile drive ahead of me next week. Unlike my last car, this one is not a project car. It's a very low mile, well maintained example and not TOO old. Will do the reveal after the acquisition is complete. Stoked.

When I was a kid, my dad rented a large Ryder truck and loaded a bulldozer into it. John Deere 420 Crawler. With bucket. It was a bit of a feat because he didn't have a loading dock. But he had an available gravel pit. The rental folks were not amused. Austin's vehicle should fit.

Hopefully even NICER if everything starts coming up Milhouse. It's a 2015 and just had its 50K service done. Can't wait to go meet the ol' girl. Sellers have been amazing to work with so far. SUCH a different experience than the idiots I've gotten accustomed to on CL & FB Marketplace. Haha.

Should feed the need for a rare Volvo

I'm feeling a weird pull to this https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...ibextid=dXMIcH Fkn 5 speed with my all time favorite drivers seat. I put a pair of these (in hounds tooth beige and tan) in my 1960 Willys halfway through a lap of the country in 1994,just a few days before this pic was taken Name: FB_IMG_1690061695863.jpg

I was really hoping there would be gators.

The Aerostar is just an added bonus.

Well, gentlemen. It is done. XC70 is out. E350 is in. Sorry, no gators, flood car, or Aerostars. Went with a cherry 2015 E350 4Matic. Seller was amazing, car is mostly impeccable, with no accidents or weird history. Pretty dang loaded too. Her maiden voyage with me today was about 500 miles and so far, this thing drives like an absolute dream. Wish I could spring for an RS6 Avant, but I suppose this'll do in the meantime. Massive upgrade for us and stoked we can fit 7. Only downside is the Volvo seats are still superior IMO, but these aren't bad exactly. Good enough for a road trip. The ride is SOOOO comfy tho. Air suspension FTW. Even if I know it'll break someday, my back appreciates it. Been a great day...

Wow man, that looks clean as shit, congrats!

Wild how despite changing their designs more than the other Germans (save BMW), MBs still look current well beyond their years, this one being no exception.

Now... road trip TR in the Wagon Stoke Thread!

I would gladly sign up for AARP to own that sled. AWD luxury pimp wagon at the price of a Subaru.
