Wife finally filed couple weeks ago, unfortunately for her she was under the impression that “equity” meant the cash we have put into the mortgage thus far 😂

Also filed a cross petition reserving the right to drag her fault inducing behavior into the courtroom.

She also thinks that I get to share in her debt that she brought into the marriage 😂

My ex still thinks she won some battle…. Just trying to make sure my kids are taken care of, lady…. I wrote the terms of the agreement. Ever reflect on how all the timing was set to when kids graduate HS, etc? But if it makes her feel clever that she “won”, whatever.

not sure where you are, but colorado is a no-fault state so i didn't get the option you have.

agreed, it's a terrible system. and no judge wants to be the one to buck it, even though it could use a re-boot. i paid out the freaking nose .. and it coulda been a lot worse too. it's wild that one can change their mind and just set fire to another's life. and get a lot of money for their trouble.
