You got my $2
I'd rather die while I'm living then live while I'm dead
Assuming there are 50 of us in and we have the good fortune to win, doing the 30 year annuity starts the after tax payout at about $208k year 1. Up to $253k by year 5 and by year 10 you are at $323k.
Honestly, I would rather have the 30 year payout. That is a lot of BBI's in Yurp with all the mangs.

Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.
In!!! Coinage submitted. Time to make it rain... Audis.

In! I got a good feeling about this one
It would be very annoying and burdensome and probably expensive dealing with arranging to pay out the annuity to 50 different people (and later some of their estates and heirs) and all the nonsense that comes with that. Honestly sounds like a nightmare for the winners to be beholden to each other like that over 30 years.
You can't buy a dream home in a desirable skiing spot on $200k per year these days, but you can with the lump sum and you'd still money left over to throw into VOO or VTI to live off the 4% withdrawals for Euro BBI trips, etc.
I'd take the cash option for sure.
Anyway, I'm in for another round!

"If you're gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough."
Cash option. Always.
Time. Value. Of. Money.
I still call it The Jake.
When we win, consult bmills to find the right legal team and strategy to get us the dough!
If it were just me scoring a solo winning ticket, I'd be all about the annuity option. HOWEVER, due to a not insignificant percentage of our friends here being of a more ...ahem... advanced age, I'm sure they'd rather just cash in their chips sooner than later. Plus like Kevo said, it'd be a hudge PITA to deal with. Not that I'd be complaining either way. Hahaha.
BTW, don't you all get a crack out of people saying they don't care about these jillion dollar prices cuz the feds take such a large cut? Overheard that at the gas station the other day and I piped up saying, "Well I don't know about you, but I'd be pretty stoked to walk away with whatever's left." Guy was like "true, true." We all laffed.
OMG. Austin, I hope you were secretly imagining administering swift kicks to the nuts. I can't wrap my head around that. "I don't want to win a big prize because the gubmint gets a big chunk." WTF is in the water down there?
^^^^^^
Get the money now. Dump it all in VOO, or QQQ, or whatever massive index fund you like and don't think about it. Live off the dividends and get more. The annunity is paying off at shitty bond rates and literally anything other than blowing it all in a massive bender is a better option.
Wait, how can we trust this guy^^^ He's clearly not DJSapp

in it to win it
Told the GF last night we hadn't won yet and she was like, Are you really getting a corvette if you win? Pretty much looked at her like she just dropped out of a dogs ass
Hahaha. It was definitely some dumb logic. Now don't get me wrong. Playing the lottery PERIOD is dumb logic statistically speaking, but saying you wouldn't be interested in a nearly 400 MILLION dollar payout post lump sum hit and post taxes is random gas station moran logic at its finest. Wasn't a "freedumb" kinda guy either FWIW. I was in the hood.
Just a GF, eh? With THAT kind of response, you shoulda told her that if you win, you won't just be getting a fly new Corvette, but will be looking to possibly upgrade girlfriends too. With megajillions loot, you can go full blown Leonardo DiCaprio if you so choose.
