I’ve had 4 shots and haven’t had covid. How am I supposed to transmit it if I can’t even seem to get it? An asymptomatic case isn’t gonna have me sniffling and coughing out virus for others to get. I feel shortchanged.

And my immune system is still working 2 years later. When does the gene therapy I was promised start?

These three campers got it. When do the rest of us get that sweet 5G nano chip activation? I’ve got shows to stream!

Yup. McCandless was young, eager, and had studied survival. The average meal team 6 member who thinks they're going to survive after SHTF would be well advised to consider their age, knowledge, and abilities, and redirect their efforts to keeping the machine we call society running, so it brings them their bacon.

I know that with preparation I can live on my own in the wilderness in nice weather for two weeks. After which I need pizza, a beer, and a grocery store to even think about continuing. And by on my own, I mean with a good supply of high tech manufactured goods and foods as one finds at an outdoors store. Most people can't even.

The Gravy Seals were the first ones to crack and lose their shit during the pandemic.. They got the major societal breakdown disaster scenario they had been prepping for all their lives.. and they didn't last long at all.

Rumor had it they were pulling the plug and moving up to Lander when I was there in ‘02. No idea what ever happened. I remember putting shit tickets in a little can next to the toilet because the plumbing was from the gold rush. Prepared me well for life in the developing world.

Meant to add… kudos on the fentanyl theory. Probably my favorite at this juncture. Although you’d think the kit would have been around tipping off authorities.

Is there any more info about the evidence/cause of death? Is it possible there were signs of assault or gunshots or has that been ruled out?

Usually the local news will disclose that level of info within a few days of the discovery. Also usually throws out some names of people reported missing over the last year or so.. Did none of that happen here?

Did any of then know Alex Murdaugh?

tryingto make things out to be more complicated than they were
creating conspiracy theories and insane overdose ideas
pretending something more insane happened is all silly

some people walked into the woods with a fantasy that they could live in the mountains unencumbered by modern society and guess what it didn't work
    end of story

I think the drag queen story hour had something to do with it.

Strangely, looks like Fred got it:

Three people found dead at campsite were sisters, 14-year-old boy who planned to ‘live off the grid’

    https://www.durangoherald.com/articl...-off-the-grid/

Two sisters and a 14-year-old boy were identified as the three campers whose bodies were found badly decomposed at a remote campsite in Gunnison County.

Christine Vance, 41, Rebecca Vance, 42, and Rebecca’s son, 14, were all Colorado Springs residents, Gunnison County Coroner Michael Barnes told The Colorado Sun on Tuesday.

They likely started camping in July 2022, the coroner said, about a year before a hiker found one of the bodies July 9, about 1,000 feet from a site near the Gold Creek Campground, northeast of Gunnison. Gunnison County Sheriff’s deputies found the two other bodies the next day.

Malnutrition and “exposure to the elements” at high altitude and through a harsh winter likely contributed to their deaths, but further analysis is pending to determine the causes of death, Barnes said.

    Terrible story.

Horrible end they all met, especially the kid who was about 7 years and a legal barrier to a fully-formed opinion on the matter.

Pretty sure we all love the woods, but damn if you don’t meet the weirdos out there.
I still call it The Jake.
