+2 for the Meyers. Because it’s normal size.

Looks like we may soon have a replacement for ranch dressing in the blue condiment containers.

I feel like a dork for saying this, but soap right next to their water storage makes me think they might actually camp out of that thing regularly. I have way less shit in/on my vehicle but I learned pretty early that having some hand soap in an easy spot is great for car camping.

A tactical masturbation station. It's nice to be able to rub one out in the great outdoors at any time.

    Then wash your hands, too.

I am not criticizing these guys because they appeared to be on their way to do some genuine outdoor recreating, not just running errands with a bunch of shit permanently attached to their truck. It’s hard moving all your shit around with a small car and they have figured out solutions. On the other hand, they were also towing a trailer on a parkway, which is a big no no around here. I imagine they ended up with a ticket, cause this area is rotten with troopers

^^^ Reasons why I left NY. Why is that a problem, and what was with the commercial vehicle plates and "vehicle inspection" stickers? What a racket, like a real racket. I don't have recycling, emissions, or vehicle inspections now. WTF? Do gooders I say. Shoot them all, oh, and I can own any gun I want and carry willy nilly. I remember helping my mother fill out her carry permit. My Dad carried everyday for work, 1st non-citizen to do so, never became one actually (thanks for the dual citizenship). Fuck NY, my glorious home state. I grew up in the very boundary of the never-ending contested bottom boundary of this thread, went to HS in the bronx, climbed every route of note on every peak in your upper reaches, was a bum camping at the crags in the back of my pickup as I got older, got turned down at the boarder seeking sin many times, buried both parents there, hiked the AT to make sure I didn't miss any, had a college interview in long lost towers, learned to drive on a dedicated beach vehicle in Suffolk and have no desire to ever step back into that triangle state of confusion. It will always be its own thang. I respect it, but I have gotten used to no bugs and altitude over attitude. Fred, you can have it. And Breck too. Go BoSox. And fuck humidity and Hazy Hot and Humid. Not a big draw honestly. Just give me a dirty Jersey girl for a bit and all the "charm" will come back for a night or two.

The line is the Bear Mt. Bridge. I will die on that hill. I have tripped balls on it, my sister got married there, but, for this thread, I will pass on it, lots of gas $$$. And tolls, wtf is with the tolls? It ain't NH.

No trailers? Is this ‘parkway’ a special road?

The parkways were designed way back when with low overpasses, narrow lane etc… no commercial vehicles allowed, no overweight or overheight , no trailers or wide loads. I can’t think of any good reason why that little sport trailer would cause any problems but it’s the law.

The way laws work is that you gotta draw the line somewhere. Similar deal in California: That Subaru with a small trailer is subject to a statewide 55 speed limit, same as if it was a tractor-trailer rig.

And nobody in California follows that trailering speed limit...

Well, everybody ignores pretty much all speed limits in CA, up to a point anyway. I can tell you that big trucks are quite noticeably more aggressive in states like Utah where they don’t have that lower limit.

The (award winning) hot dog stand in our town makes a Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce that's pretty damn good. Perfectly compliments the spicy slaw on a big dog.

No ketchup storage, but yonder rear bike rack may need a little more engineering…

Hilux right hand drive? Quite the effort on the passenger rear window. And the lug nuts I assume are a mix of chrome and black? Either that or the wheels are ready to fall off.

Hilux Double Cab is a legit vehicle. A lot going on in the back of that one.

It doesn't even have a hitch. Hell, the recovery points don't even have hard shackles. Those steps are not rock sliders, and where is the damn shovel. Total fail.
