I haven't driven one yet, but assuming the valve keepers don't fail, it's gotta ride way better on the highway than the Wrangler, no?

A cinderblock on 1990 skateboard trucks rides better than most Wranglers on the highway.

And the seats in the Wrangler are shitty too...the seat bottom is too short. It's like they don't want you driving it for more than 1 hr at a time.

Never driven a Wrangler, but the Bronco is great on the highway for what it is. Even with the 35's on mine.

The Bronco will definitely ride better on road than a Wrangler with its IFS, but is going to be more limited off road in comparison. It is still better than almost anything else out there offroad and would be slightly above say a 4 runner.

Ultimately the Bronco will do 95% of what a Wrangler will do offroad, but if offroading is your jam, the Wrangler is still king, and by a significant margin. But for the real world the Bronco is probably going to be a better buy for most people.

    Fun fact though:
If you get stuck in a Jeep on your honeymoon until 5 in the morning because brush fires froze traffic on the road back to your hotel, the seats fold back well enough for you to sleep in it until the roads open.

Ancillary fun fact: a good shave ice cup is a useful piss catcher.

Dang, I didn’t get anything other than lots of emails, but I did finally put my order in a week before Ford said they were gonna cancel all orders. Heritage edition with the Sasquatch package (apparently really hard to get this year) scheduled to be built end of March. Tempted to flip it if the market holds for these things. Mark ups have been crazy. Guess I’ll have to see how much I love it once I see it in person.

Your 2023 Bronco status has changed from In Production to Built.

Very cool, as it went down the assembly line I could watch as each sensor linked to the main ECU. So when they installed the brakes I could see the ABS sensors link up. When they installed the exhaust I could see the oxygen sensors link up.

No video link which was disappointing.

My cousin got one off the lot while waiting for his order to be built/delivered. I can see what he ordered and whether he can transfer if anyone’s interested. Getting close../

We were finally able to test drive a few broncos over the last few weeks. Dealers seem to have a small number available at any one time. Settled on the 4door V6. Anyway, pulled the trigger on a badlands sasquatch OJ special. Very happy so far on all fronts. Did some basic field testing between mtn bike rides last weekend. Played with all the features/modes on a variety of offroad surfaces. Very impressed. Super capable vehicle offroad and comfortable onroad. Last couple tanks: 20.0, 18.3, 19.5 MPG, so better than rated.

Ended up with a brand new (700mi) 2d Outer Banks trim from National during a recent business trip. Was impressed overall. Ride quality was definitely better than a wrangler.

    2021 FORD BRONCO REVEAL

Picked up our Badlands Sasquatch last Friday. Super happy with so far. Put a thousand miles on it over the weekend and got about 20mpg (V6) bringing it back to Colorado from South Dakota. Click image for larger version.

Right? Which vehicle can't you say that about? A pinzgauer comes to mind but that's about it.
Brandine: Now Cletus, if I catch you with pig lipstick on your collar one more time you ain't gonna be allowed to sleep in the barn no more!
    Cletus: Duly noted.

I really like the green color on these. Some parent at my son's school has one so I see it at drop off frequently and just think that it's a classy color every time it's there.

    ^^^^

Green shades are my favorite colors, and my neighbor just got a green one with the Everglades package, in JH, odd.
Big winch on front from factory, it's sharp.

    2021 FORD BRONCO REVEAL

Ford finally got around to building mine, 2 years and 10 months after I made my reservation.

$26K after they applied the 2020 MSRP Price Protection, plus I pocketed the money they gave me for dropping the Sasquatch option. Great car for not a whole lot of money.

Color is Azure Grey Metallic. Loving the 7MT manual transmission !

Woah nice! Congratulations!!! That's an insane wait time but glad you finally got it. IMO you got the realest Bronco of them all. That's exactly the one I'd go for too if I were in the market. Especially after seeing the rats nest of hoses, tubes, and wiring that goes along with the V6 variant. Some Ford engineer needs to be punched in the nuts for that nonsense. Drives my OCD crazy. The Ecoboost 2.3L version however looks decently serviceable which will be nice for long term ownership! You did well, Harry.

Score. What a mess for Ford, but your patience paid off. I think that is the lowest price I have heard yet.
You are the polar opposite of all these poseurs buying them for $30,000 over MSRP just to have the newest toy.
