Major insomniac here and when I first started waking at 3:00 a.m. I was told it's the liver or kidneys that flush hence the physical wake up to the bathroom.
After that it's all downhill with sleep but sometimes feeding the geese does work.

Less about the numbers and more about the sun.

    No daylight savings in Japan.

The sun wakes me up. Been that way for over a decade now.

Metabolism makes quite a shift around the age of 40. Don’t fight it.

Why the hell have I started waking up at 4am?

I reject the assumption that we have to start getting up early as we age. My old man is in his 80s and sleeps until 11-noon most days. When I wake up that early, I rub one out, queue up some Bob Ross on the phone, set a sleep timer and am out in minutes.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

Rubbing one out to Bob Ross isn't for everyone though.

Maybe as we get old, a nice head of hair starts turns us on, as we ourselves go bald?

I've recently started to have problems with sleeping. I've also been waking up at 4 and 5 AM.

I started taking 400mg/ day of Magnesium Glycinate. I sleep a little bit longer and I feel like I sleep deeper and I'm more rested when I wake up. Also, I find that I'm dreaming more. Might be worth a try.

    Fuck I hope not.

    Just bought some.

Weed, CBD., Gummies, Melatonin, Kratom, OTC sleep medicine, jerking off to Bob Ross, non of it works at all.

So will give these magnetic pills a shot.

Not a spambot, I just linked to what I'm taking in case anyone wants to give them a try. It's not an affiliate link, I promise.

I did some research on different types of magnesium and went with magnesium glycinate because it has less GI side effects.
