m2711c asked for change and we got a few laps together.

Nice last day conditions, even with some creative navigating on the fly for the rock dodge…

According to the comments, he climbed out about 10 minutes later.

Glad I opted for Cannon yesterday over Tucks/GOS. The congo line of hikers was enough for me to realize I made the right choice.

Cannon was great! Not sure I'm ready to pack up the alpine gear after that day...

Saw that vid on r/icecoast and thought what a dumbfuck, the waterfall holes aren't something to mess with in an attempt to show the crowd how rad you are. The possibility of ending up dead under the ice with a rat chewing your face off until your body melts out is real.

Bucket texted me some photos from K and said we lost a months worth of snow in a week, yep.

Was in Tucks on Saturday with (my guess) 2500 people. It was an awesome scene, but did rush out of there around 11am and thankfully missed some of the madness. It is pretty wild how many people are in over their head (rental bindings, rear entry boots, etc).
