    Sounds like operator error then.

A helicopter would help me in my endeavors. Everyone should have access to one easily. I better write a letter to my congressperson

Guy who applied for a Darwin Award giving towing advice.

All race cars have mandated tow points, which is why all race cars look the same.

I'm going to professionally cob a short strap from the front cradle/frame to my front bumper, so don't have to crawl underneath when I need it.

Driving 4k per month all winter in winter conditions I'm helping ppl constantly.

Not a good solution as it will get absolutely trashed and compromised. Get a dedicated tow point for your hitch instead.

I'm close to buying a second one, given that it seems like 90% of the pulls I've been involved in had two vehicles with hitches and we ended up with my recovery point insert in one and using the tow chain hooks on the other. If I do buy another one, I'm going to see if I can find one that's soft-shackle compatible.

So my transit has a rear tow point but nothing up front. To do it right is minimum a grand up to 4 plus.

I'll probably do the aftermarket van compass one at some point. Still involves taking the entire front grill bumper off and grinding away the metal to affix to the frame. Involved.

Or I just pull from behind and crawl the fuck under the van in front of need be.

No hitch anywhere comes w the van.

Maybe a bit too off-topic cuz mercedes g-wagens score high on d-bag scale without any GOTOS... but does skiing the Folsom G-Wagon make you as douchy as driving a G-Wagen? It is a $1800 ski and called G Wagon. Or is it ironic funny? Asking for a friend. Sorry if better in tech talk...

Having a "cat and heli skiing" specific ski is pretty douchey

Why not just get a Praxis powder board for half the price? Or a protest for that matter

Uh, if I'm not mistaken, that truck has two recovery points but not an actual hitch. That qualifies for a WTF from me.

The attached specimen was found in a local brewpub parking lot.Click image for larger version.

Def a DIY camo paint job on this FJ I spotted. Lots to unpack here but the roof rack on the hood is a new one.

    ^^Holy shit

Didn't snag a pic, but last week down in Escalante I saw a Sprinter with an RTT on top. I was very confused.
