Hit night session with my daughter, left around 9. Amazing snow for late March and dumped the entire time and all the way home. Tomorrow should be nice.

Definitely a dust on crust situation in a lot of places but had a surprisingly good time. Did a short tour up to Pineapple Pass/Big Trees after since Nash Gate didn't open and that was the best snow I had all day. Zero crowds out there.

What a crap show with lines and parking today. Shutting down West when it is still prime ski season combined together with reporting more snow than anywhere else and it was a disaster. For the 90 minutes the lesson kids had lunch, the Armstrong line was pretty reasonable.

Luckily the skiing saves everything. I had my whole family so I was kept to the lower mountain, but it skied great. Not sure I've seen grooming on the lower mountain that good in a long time. I bet it was great up on 2, but none of my kids wanted to wait in the line. Stoked for anyone who was able to get the real goods.

Weird no Nash gate, they've had it open a lot this year. Stability seemed good across the way yesterday. Cornice concerns maybe, though it wasn't particularly stormy lately or warm today?Click image for larger version.

By the looks of it, things got skied pretty hard in the backcountry over the weekend but we managed to find a few small pockets of untracked snow that skied amazingly well this morning. Made it to work by 10:15 too.

Stopped in for a few laps on the way to the game today... Lines weren't bad after 2pm and there were plenty of good turns to be found up high. It was storming pretty good when I rolled back through tonight, tomorrow should be v nice.

I haven't been west of the pass in a while and I was surprised to see how much damage the guard rails suffered this winter. Lots of mangle-age between the summit and NB.
