    Central Switzerland

Started a skitour in the afternoon to take advantage of the good weather coming in.
    1100 m slight rain
turned to snow around 1500 m
Snow however not very good up to 2100 m (heavy with a slight crust)
--> go as high as you can (but Monday temps are rising and rising...)

Anyway..... good outing, with blue bird on the way down around 16h.

Saw this slide at the tree line. Hope the photos are good enough to see. Doesn’t inspire confidence, hopefully it’s all settling quickly.

Didn’t see it go, but strong suspicion it was skier triggered.

The Snowpack is incredibly fucked if your favorite run at G3000 does this

Good to hear guys. Our high peak was looking pretty caked today too. Couldn’t get up there but judging by the jump in the river it seems like a lot!

Sunday at Andermatt was probably the sketchiest day I've had in my last 13 years in Europe. Tons of people skiing very skechy lines, skiing over/under each other without caring about the avy danger whatsoever.

As my buddy and I noticed that things were turning for the worse, we tried to bail out down to the valley, but had to dodge many slides in the process, and my friend set off a scary close call directly above where I had skiied to. Not a day I want to repeat anytime soon.

The conditions were amazing but there were a lot of slides. This is pretty terrifying…
