first alert of a wild week:
The big alert comes Thursday evening. Still unclear whether we'll get snow below 2000m
    use translate
    The start until Thursday:

Wind is gonna be on the wild side. Find the highest trees possible and stay there until monday.

maybe it's too early to tell - just wondering about what Lofoten would be like this year in late April/early May.

A trusted friend who runs Norway trips said that far into spring I should be more looking at Tromso only (rather than both)

(I've gone down the TGR rabbit hole of reading all the TRs I could find for beta - but they are of course posted after the fact and don't often report the time the trip occurred)

    Thanks for any info

In 24 hours the Verbier forecast on Friday night went from FL at 2500 to 1100m. Pray it stays like that!

Woah it got warm fast. Anything below 2300 is done in the valais.

Let's see what tomorrow brings. [emoji3]

I found some pretty good skiing up at 2962 today. Decent bud from midday and nobody there. The lower lying area in our valley was full by nine AM.

Extreme Sketche today. We saw 5 triggered avalanches today, in one hour. [emoji3]

    Luckily only one partial burial

Still ...fun was had above 2220m

But we had everything. Whoomph noises, remote triggering...all the good stuff [emoji79] . They stopped the lift and we saw 3 people trigger stuff in 15min.

Pretty much the new normal in Europe now
It used to a badge of pride but sometimes I’m ashamed to ski off piste because of the hoards of idiots that now do it…..
