From Evo, looks like an interesting binding for sure.
“What do you get when you cross a Kingpin and an Alpinist? The Cruise, A new touring binding from Marker. Just like the Alpinist, it features both a pin toe and heel. Unlike the Alpinist, it’s got reduced step in force and is easier to use for every-day freeride touring. Constructed with bio-based plastic, the Cruise is eco-friendly and strong as heck. Two heel risers, independently adjustable vertical and horizontal release, and fast switching of the 180 degree uphill heel rotator make it easy to transition and set the bindings to your need.”
Anybody know anything about the new Nordica Unlimited? boot? Looks like a full grilamid 130 and a PU 50/50 type. Thinking it might be a possible replacement for my XTD's in the 50/50 role.
It’s called the cruise, i believe it’s going to be full adjustable release, lateral and vertical. I think it’s also going to come in a 9 and a 12. No sure about pricing though

Saw some prototype K2 pow sticks in the alpental lines today. Took a couple snaps but the homies asked me not to post, my guess is they may or may not see the light in 2024. Seems exciting. K2 is making a comeback.
So post them

I think it’s the new K2 Crescendo perhaps
Hmmm, wonder what the suits at K2 think about them rolling with pivots on their shiny new protos?
So have not read through the full thread to see if these are discussed. But Sunday was demo days with reps from the following: Dynastar, Rossignol, Line, and Elan.
Elan had some new Wingman skis- The Elan Wingman Black Edition with a few rods carbonite rods up through them. Hopped on the Wingman 86 (under foot) in a 178 cm ski with a radius of 16.5. So dimensions are 130-86-115 and they were a fun ski. It was a soft snow day on the local hill.

As far as light (1100-1300ish g) but fairly stiff touring boots, what all is coming out next year? Not much that I'm aware of. The Atomic Backland XTD is the big one, there will be a stiffer version of the Fischer Transalp, the Scarpa F1 XT will be available in the US I think, Dynafit Tigard is heavier. Anything else?
