Georgetown seems determined to stick with Patrick come hell or high water so...yeah. We're not even vaguely relevant. It's painful.

I am a Terps fan too though, and the game last night against Indiana nd the recent Michigan game were great. That team has come alive. They are very athletic and have a lot of guys with skillz. Not much size, though. But you'll be hearing more from them.

Is today the day my Tar Heels turn the corner and figure out how to put together another run?!?

Also LOL at Dook getting screwed by the refs today @ UVA. Seemed pretty obvious the foul happened before the buzzer. That wouldn't have happened if K was still on the sidelines.

That was one of the best finishes to a game I've seen this season.

Tough being a Kentucky fan these days. We haven't won a tournament game since 2019 and there's a good chance we won't be dancing this year

I enjoyed that VOLS win, they’re such a streaky on/off team though, doesn’t bode well for March play, going to need to find consistency

That's 2 road losses for 16th ranked X this week by a combined 2 points and a combined .9 seconds of game clock. One on a bullshit goaltending call and one on a last second tip-in at 10th ranked Marquette.

Hope that doesn't hurt them too bad come seeding time.

Terps with a convincing 14-point win over #3 Purdue at home in College Park. BTN network is annoying AF, I'm not paying extra for that shit.

    Great win Nova!

    (see what I did there?)

At least you guys will get to see March. It would take a miracle for us.

Big time road win in Providence tonight by X! Second place all to themselves in the Big East. Let’s get it together before tournament time.

Boeheim retiring after 47 seasons at The Cuse.
1 National title, 2 runners up, 5 final fours and second in wins behind Coach K. Unbelievable career.

Boheim out here getting disrespected. K and Roy "retired" but Boheim is "not returning". Dude never got the respect when he hit 1000 either.

    the official college basketball thread

FWIW..on sports talk radio this afternoon..
Craig Carton (SU grad) was talking on his show today about Boeheim and stories about him/one of his assistants very similar to the PSU Paterno/Sandusky disaster.

Carton and Evan were not shy in their criticism of Boeheim and that SU should of got rid of him years ago….amongst other SU communication grads like Mike Tirico, Ian Eagle, Bob Costas…

I’ll have to go back and see exactly what they are talking about, but I’m sure it’s not positive….especially when they referred to it as just like what happened at PSU.

Its a huge stretch to compare what happened at SU to Sandusky. Look up Bernie Fine. A couple of guys accused him of sexual assault. No charges were ever brought against him, locally or by the feds. Feds claimed they interviewed 130 people. Pretty much ruined his career.

Big East Tournament under way (sorry about your Hoya's 48 points in the first round, Ice). X lost their senior big man Freemantle officially the other day, but they've been playing well without him since January. Here's hoping they can make a good run and solidify a 4 seed or maybe even climb to a 3.

Man Maquette almost got rolled today.
DePaul is on a mission. GL to X tonight.
Rooting for Providence to take out UConn (who are looking really, really good)

It’s good to see Shaka Smart having success at Marquette. I thought he got a raw deal at Texas. Although, I guess you really can’t lose to Abilene Christian in the first round of the NCAA tournament and expect to keep your job at UT.

Well, the horns managed to squeak by TCU without hitting hardly any deep shots. Guess they spent all their energy in practice on defense and rebounding and not on shooting 3s.

Meanwhile, in the Kansas game, Gradey Dick was splashing everything he looked at. Doesn’t bode well for tomorrow’s matchup if you are a Texas fan, especially since the game is essentially a home game for Kansas. But I guess we’ll have to see what happens…

Watching UVM vs UMass Lowell on TV. UVM needs to get its head back in the game.
