    I don't understand how frangers that ski weekends put up with anywhere else. Sure...if there's no traffice WP/Abasin are only another 10-15min. But frequently during the best part of ski season WP/Abasin are an additional hour each way. 55min to the hill this weekend, 1:05 home and easy parking make up for the wind.

    Pros working 40hrs a week, putting their bodies on the line every day, on a profitable hill deserve to be able to have an OK place to live and eat decent food. Being on skis doesn't change that. They're going to be dirtbags whether they make a living wage or not.
