Your second pic/video has a broken link fyi.
I would like to see a slomo video of a ski before the HDT is implemented and After it is implemented in the same model of ski just to show difference in chatter and such. Not really to convince me but just out of curiosity.
Make money. Buy toys.
It worked for me and now doesn't. There is a step to allow flash, too. Here's the url: https://vimeo.com/136447286

The mount points have been a topic of discussion between Cyrus and us. We have been moving the mount points significantly back from where he originally had them, both on the Z and Endurance collections.
Click. Point. Chute.
She flies in Sunday, 4/15. Boston monday. maybe Tuesday night
To target an older demographic?

On mine I felt like they were skis that weren't able to be driven via the tips at all, but required a good centered stance and lots of balance for them to then rip. I don't have any demo bindings on them, but I can only assume it'd make them feel more aggressive by moving back.
We prefer "experienced". Actually everyone who has skied the Z skis with the bindings back preferred the way they skied. Having a demo binding on the Endurances we had the opportunity to play with different points and with the rocker profile the mount points back, testers older..and younger preferred the points back.
Click. Point. Chute.
Well, not quite everyone ....... but I blame the freeheel bindings![]()

Ok, who's a blister member and can summarize JE's sentiments on the Renouns in a couple sentences? His teaser seems to indicate they completely blew him away.
As an aside, I will never understand why JE doesn't go to a $19.95 full access annual membership fee and get everyone who skis subscribing rather than so very many fewer for $59.95. Would it make him too wealthy? Am I too cheap? I bet he'd get 15 (conservatively) signed up for $20 over every one for $60.
As a heads up, I heard from Renoun regarding next year’s options:
“....our line-up is now Z-Line. (77mm & 90mm waist), Endurance (98mm waist) and the new carbon Citadel (106mm).”

Have you listened to today’s gear30 podcast blister does? They go into a lot more detail about the Endurance 98

Thanks for the link. (The podcast with Cyrus I stumbled onto was interesting too.)
Sounds like the 184 length Endurance was too much ski for the reviewer, eh? Or was it Telluride?
Yesterday, the conditions at Telluride were firm, spring crust to icy, underneath a nice cold snow that built to boot top powder and more in places from wind blown infill. The 180 Z90s were fun all around with all the variable conditions, except when nailing hard bumps on sun side aspects, under the powder. In softer bumps on northerly aspects or shaded areas, you can 'work and finesse the bumps' OK, but can get thrown if you hit abrupt sides directly. Listening to the podcasts, I keep thinking the Endurances would still be too stiff up front at times when hitting bumps.

So a lot different from the teaser image.
Flexon Phil posted an initial review on the 2019 Endurance 98s. He has yet to steer me wrong.

104 goes away next year. Citadel is a 106. Have a pair of 191’s ordered up!
I guess if *in theory* they replace 5 of my skis, I can afford $1500 on a set. Damn even after his demo sale that'll be $750. I would if I could but I can't.
Got the word my Citadels are being built up....
I have the Citadel 106 and was worried the non-Newtonian fluid thing was a gimmick. I couldn'tthink of a better Colorado sidecountry ski after skiing on it though. Super light and as stable as i need for the groomers
Bumping this as they are relentlessly advertising to me in Instagram and their full money back guarantee has me interested to try them. Thinking of the Citadel 106 as a touring ski. Hoping this vibestop would somewhat return the feel of a heavier ski.
Short answer: My guess is the Citadels would be a fun and capable rig for touring and would worth taking advantage of the money back guarantee.
Ramble: I’ve passed on my Z90s after realizing the overlap between them and my Endurance 98s and Atlas 80s. The Z90s and Atlas are ‘heavy’ compared to the Endurance and love to carve.
The Endurances are more towards the Citadel and do not feel heavy, but are very capable and versatile and super fun all mountain, except deeper and stiffer snows. Like Phil, I moved my mount back to reduce tip dive. The vibe stop is also claimed to ‘protect the knees’ and ‘reduce tiredness’ so you can ski longer. I think the later is true and when you feel them stiffen in a turn, it’s pretty noticeable and solid. On variable groomers and crud there is a lot tip banging, however.
