I'll try joining tonight and see if anyone else shows up. See ya in 10 minutes.

I won't be around my bike setup until January - see you then on the nutcracker climb or whatever it's called
I have access to some wheel off smart trainers. They are in Eagle County Colorado, not sure if shipping makes sense with them being close to 50lbs. But I'll work with you if you want to ship.
I have new in box Wahoo Kickr V5 for $600 (Price Police? Lowest online I can see is $800).
I also have some used Saris H3 Direct Drive, I need to make sure they have all the parts, but I think I can convince them to list these as low as $300 ish.
PM me if you're interested, or want to discuss.
I might be interested in the next month or two, Dee - would be a Denver/Eagle handoff. Will PM you if so. Thanks.

Ordered the Stages SB20, thanks for the tips above re: Zwift and stuff. Not going to setup the bike until we move to our new place end of month but looking forward to getting into it and improving riding/general fitness. Since kids arrived on the scene, there's been a consistent decline in my fitness over winter as skiing/touring days have fallen off, then I get back in shape in the spring, peaking in Sept/Oct before it starts raining again and bike miles fall off.
Any tips for cadence sensor on saris H3? I calibrated with the app severa ltimes, but the cadence is way off. It will read 80 rpm, then I shift to an easier gear and spin faster and the cadence will drop to 50-60 when I’m pedaling 90-100.
Not a huge deal as the power seems to be right but the constant “spin faster” is annoying.

The trainers only measure cadence through power variation, so yeah I've found it to be a little off sometimes. especially at lighter loads and higher cadences where there isnt as clear of a sharp power increase on each pedal downstroke. If you're really worried about it you can always add a crank arm cadence sensor but that probably requires an ant+ dongle or something if you're just using bluetooth. Although I haven't tried. My laptop connects to the trainer and my bluetooth hrm directly but i'm not sure it can do any more things than that.
Thanks for the info. I was afraid that I would have to add a cadence sensor, don’t think I am that invested.

Are we riding tonight? Don’t see an event.
hey my one month off of exercise turned into 2 - but I'm getting off my fat ass now
is there a ride I can join tomorrow (Tuesday) night?
ready to get my legs snapped on lap 3
I've been Zwifting less and less and doing Wahoo SYSTM more and more.
I've always struggled riding the trainer for more than 45 minutes. I just get bored no matter what I watch and the Zwift virtual world is not very engaging to me.
The "On location" / Pro Rides, etc. where you're actually riding along has been really engaging.
I've clicked off a few 1:30 workouts without issue. Typically when I first look at the time, I'm already 45 minutes in and that's usually where I'm pulling the plug.
I wish they had a wider variety of workouts, especially at base intensity. So, I am still doing some of those rides on Zwift at the moment.
We riding tonight? Trying to decide if I should TGR ride or just go to happy hour.
I'm going to try to late join after a zwift race assuming i have the motivation. should only be like 10min late or so.
Have a meeting right up until it, may not be able to gather motivation for it....
I'll join tonight.
Dope ride tonight. I closed the shop early because we have over a foot of snow on the ground here in town, so was able to make it.
Good decision.
Wendigo with the KOM. That was crazy.
