What made the 2’ powder day very large?

Ive always wondered, if a bootfitter was bored, could they grab some old boots that generally fit and punch/grind/mold the shit out of them enough to be comfortable fitting on the opposite foot? go skiing on April 1st with some sweet backward mounted skis and those boots and have a hoot of a time.

Or is that just not possible?

I think by the time they were done punching and stretching them, they'd look more or less like the opposite boot, just with backwards buckles. It'd be a whole lot easier to just mount the buckles backwards on the correct boot.

An instructor I know let one of his kids ski like this for half the lesson, until another instructor pointed it out…

If bent poles are wrong, then I don't want to be right.

I had bent Jr poles. Ppl asked if they were racing poles, they were Red.
It was a sad day when 1 broke on the hill. So I skied with 1 bent pole the rest of the day.

If you swap the liners so you wear the shells on the wrong feet but with the liners on the correct feet, I think you might be able to get away with it.

Reminds me of shop pranks of swapping liners of unsuspecting coworkers.

Not just depth, but girth. The crowds were surely "Very Large" that day as well. Does that explain it enough for your pedantic gaper grammar police brain?

The grammar was fine. Saying “a very large 2’ powder day” is pretty gaperish though

Saw some snowboarders getting ready for a lesson today strapping on their boards and one says, "I can't even touch my feet. How am I supposed to strap in my boots?"
