Haven't been up yet either, but I'll be at Hunter Friday regardless because I'm Epic. Debate is whether to hit it again Sat or head up to VT, most likely Mt Snow.
If someone could just tell me where I put my pass at the end of the season last year so I don't have to stand in line for a new one, that would be extremely helpful.
I predict the NEK gets the usual Nor-easter shaft. 4" at most with some mix of sleet. If the last couple of years are an indicator. This will turn into the 2" of unmeltable glacier that at least keeps it looking sort of like winter around here.

Aim for the chopping block. If you aim for the wood, you will have nothing. Aim past the wood, aim through the wood.</p>
Making my fat pow rock skis wicked shahhhrrp… because you never know what lurks below. They cut through twigs and spark rocks better with a fresh 1/3* from das Pansar file.

a buddy of mine just asked me if I thought there will be any mellow backcountry in play with this storm as he's eager to get out on his new splitboard; I told him we're gunna need a lot more than a foot to make that happen... although the long term radar does show two more big ones rollin' in for Christmas and New Years so with this weekend's storm as a base-builder we might be in business before long
my head is perpetually in the clouds
Early storms on dirt and ice are just BBEs.
haven't been in a number of years but planning on hunter tomorrow also. i'll be on spats, no poles and an unzipped ny jets jacket.
^^ i was thinking more about an unzipped jacket while it's snowing and windy.
a nod to hunter dress code?
Rangers, or maybe Islanders. I save my Bills jacket for pow days at Holiday Valley.
