As a non-drinker myself, I’d appreciate they didn’t presume a beer as the automatic social mechanism. At least they probably won’t be having loud, obnoxious white-trash parties.
People from the Pacific Northwest are flatlanders? Probably not skiers as they moved from the cascades to New Hampshire, but flatlanders?
How does being neighborly impact your freedom?

Fun fact. Late 1800s there was a movement to call it
Beverly by the Depot
That’s how much they were annoyed by Manchester by the Sea

Buttahflakes ‘I don’t do social media’ line made me curious. You fill 3 Google pages on my phone. A place called Peekyou has your name in the results.
You aren’t doing too well.
New over the fence neighbors just moved in. Pumpkin Chocolate Chip cookies are made. A plate has been prepared. We'll bring it over for intros today sometime.

House nearby recently burned, cause yet to be announced by investigators. Neighborhood has lots of big pine trees and scrub brush.
Neighbor approx 3-4 houses away from the one that burned has placed a metal fire pit in the grass behind his house. Has also let his kids build several campfire piles of wood in the grasses nearby. When I called over to him one day (while walking the dogs nearby) and asked if he actually intended to light those fires in the grass, he said they weren't going to light them, they were just for the kids to play with building them.
Hope he has a shit ton of insurance, in case those kids decide to light one up.
