It's pretty clear that the Border Patrol is way better trained than the Uvaldi PD and county cops.

Oh and shoutout to the ammosexuals who are always complaining that nobody ever hears about it when the good guy with the gun saves the world. The good guy with the gun was no match for the Buffalo Supermarket whacko. The AR rojectiles went right through his vest but his handgun bullets bounced off the whacko shooter's leaving him unscathed.

Hat's off to the guy at the mall who got the drop on the shooter. Likely from behind. I'll take it but again the collateral damage from so called responsible gun owners leaving guns in their cars far outweighs the occasional lucky shot like yesterday.

It's a good thing that the shooter didn't kill more people. Can't believe I have to say that.

Everyone should be happy there was an armed civilian there. Even if you don't "like" guns.

I'm sorry it doesn't jive with your narrative. What a shame.

A good guy with a gun takes out a bad guy with a gun 3% of all shootings, pretty shitty odds...

Mass shootings make up less than 1% of all gun violence. Ban AR15s!

From what is now being discovered this kid was going for the gusto when it comes to a premeditated mass shooting of innocent people chosen by random. Some guy legally carrying capped his ass and I am glad because it prevented more deaths.

Now that that is out of the way, fuck this shit, I should not be forced into carrying a firearm to try and protect myself from a bunch of assholes with guns. Cause that's what Bobby is cheering for.

I specifically said, all shootings. Not limited to one type of weapon. Handguns cause more deaths

UK was trying to ban pointed knives a few years ago.

    Psychos gonna psycho.

I’d be ok with limiting semi auto long guns.
Not ownership, but more delay on the next trigger pull
That would be hard mechanically. But would cut down on carnage.

Even if you ban them. Now the psycho uses semi auto handguns.
But they’re harder to aim. Look at the cops that can’t shoot strait.

My narrative is that it would have been totally great if neither the shooter not the ‘armed civilian’ had, or needed, guns.

I here people say this or make this joke often. But the most famous episode of gun violence in the Wild West is the shoot out at the OK coral. Which occurred because one group didn’t follow the law and turn their guns into the marshals upon entering town. Then said marshals went down to the coral to disarm them and the shoot out occurred. Way more gun laws in the Wild West than we currently have.

I thought the comment was a little over the top...but another thought i'm having is:

Cono is everything...he's white, he's black, he's hispanic, he's Jewish, he's a Muslim, he's Catholic, he's a trump supporter that also hates trump, he hates liberalism by liberals, he loves guns, he hates guns, he hates socialists, he loves socialism (signs people up for medicare), he loves capitalism, he hates capitalism (nationalize the oil already!)...ok, the last one may have been montuckey. And goddaamnit! he's very opinionated about all of it you motherfuckers!

That’s not my narrative. Shame you need to resort to assumptions and speculation to defend yourself. Sad.

No one is forcing you to carry a firearm.

In fact. The mall was a gun free zone and the 22 year old was carrying with out a permit. So no formal training process.

We should probably charge the guy who stopped the shooting from becoming 20+ people.

Indiana went open carry last March. Everything I see says it was a legally carried gun at the time.

That armed civilian was more effective than 376 Texas cops. Nice to see Bobby Stainless advocating defunding the police.

    This seems bad:
