I am in no way defending any of this behavior and am clearly on record here that I think they should have stuck with Baker and you don't want any part of all this, so keep that in mind any time I post on the topic.

I'm lost here, and I have no idea where this all goes. On one hand you've got now a 23rd or 24th accuser, and yeah you should believe accusers at their word until the facts say otherwise, and on the other you've got zero criminal indictments out of all these same cases.

I won't pretend to know what the criminal procedures are or what the actual facts of any of these cases are, but there seems to be a whole lot of smoke and and the fire just hasn't been located yet. The truth is somewhere in there no doubt, but if he fights these cases individually as he seems to be doing, we may not find out the truth for another 2-3 years. Does the NFL go Trevor Bauer on him during that time and suspend him for so long as these cases are outstanding?

As I said, I don't know. Not defending him, not weighing in on any claims, not saying anything other than why on God's green earth would you want to bring this kind of smoke inside your own house?

In other news, they gave up and coming RB D'ernest Johnson an extension, which is nice. I expect one of these guys to be trade bait soon.

Tuned into Cleveland sports talk radio stream this afternoon and all the national pundits they have had on make it seem more likely than not that Watson won’t see the field for a very long time.

That said, I think it would be in everyone’s best interest for Baker and the team to kiss and make up for one more year and run it back with him again.
