Kadri out for the series, maybe for the Cup. The AV's to their credit didn't try to retaliate. They left it up to the league to deal with. If the league fails to suspend Kane for the duration it is sending the message that justice is to be handed out on the ice. Maybe that's what the league wants. Seems to be what the fans want.

One game might be the duration.
Today's game was ugly. And what really bothers me is that I find myself rooting for TB, after hating on them the last two seasons. If I don't have a home team to cheer for (Detroit, Boston, LV) my default is original 6, on principle. Even if it's the Leafs.

One game SHOULD be the duration. Edmonton has shown they don't have any defense nor any goaltending to answer the Ave's attack. If Smith can avoid giving up the one to two soft goals a game he's been averaging, maybe the Oiler's make it to 5 games. I doubt it.

I vividly recall when Cooke played for the Canucks. They were playing Edmonton and an Oiler absolutely crushed him and broke his nose. Over the CBC broadcast you see an Oiler skate bye him while he's lying on the ice with the trainer and yell at him 'take that you piece of shit'. Players know exactly who they're doing these things to and if you think some of them aren't waiting for their opportunity, you're naive.
