    Sox win is a big one. Caught the Malice live at a bar ordering a drink.

    Certainly seemed like indie rock's heyday. Add MGMT, Arctic Monkeys, Peter, Bjorn, and John to the list. Also a new era of electronica; Zero 7's Simple Things is right there with Air's Moon Safari. Daft Punk's Discovery.

    This is true.

    The gastro, cocktail and chef-driven scenes really took off during the aughts. I was happy to be a patron during these years.

    Also, it was a time in my life when we didn’t have kids and industry people were just more fun to be with than most other people.

    I’ll also add the many other Boston championships too. 04, 07 Sox; 02,04,05 Pats; 08 Celtics, 10 Bruins.

    9/11 in NYC is my most predominant memory of the 00s. I was in midtown and my wife right across the street from the WTC.
