Riding the lift with sweetbippy and I pointed to a skier coming down making awkward backseat stemmed turns and I told her they were on tech bindings. She asked how I knew, I said “he’s wearing an arc’teryx jacket”.

Recently went on an informal company ski day with coworkers (about 10 total). Everyone except for myself and another lady were in either brand new Arcteryx or Burton AK. Only 3 of us had been on snow more than once this year. It truly amazes me sometimes how folks feel it necessary to get top of the line outerwear (likely at full MSRP) only to wear it a small handful of times a season for a couple years, and then buy new all over again. Like, i get wanting to look good and fashionable, but when you're beatering down a green run or white knuckling the lodge stairs in your ski boots, the latest and greatest outerwear isnt going to save your image.

The gods bless them though, they're how I get all my outerwear near unused for 25% of retail.

Like the guy I saw @ Snoqualmie with his brand new Arc'teryx shell tucked in to his brand new Arc'teryx bibs.

How silly. Everyone knows Mt. St Helens is the one with lava pouring down its sides.

Went skiing with some friends the other day.
My buddy skis only once or twice a year.
    F $700 Arc’teryx jackets.
I did tell him to get some new skis though.

That was hilarious. Good day up there. Dave Space Commander not to be confused with Commando pulled it off with style, good GS skier.

Somewhere there's a woman running around in her panties, missing her pink shorts. Hope she's better looking than he is.

The goofy ski costume thing has definitely jumped the shark after this season (aside from specific events like Pain McSchlonkey, gaper day, etc.).
