No matter where you go, there you are. - BB
My kids have long out-grown these, would love to pass them on to someone who will love them. Can sell as a package, or happy to split. Name a price, you pay shipping.
Both skis are fitted to the boots. Lange 19.5 240mm. The Atomic Race 90s with Salomon 305s are very nice, very little wear, used not even one full season. The Roxy 100s, Salomon TZ5s, are well loved.

Will be staying in the Mad River Valley March 18-20 could bring them up.
On the lookout for the next skis for my kid- something around 150, not a race ski, not a park ski. Something that will "reward and reinforce good behavior". Saw some Jr Blizzard Cochises that I thought would be basically ideal if anyone is holding. PM if you are nearing the end of something like that.

Still looking for some 21.5 boots - let me know what you have! Got a few pairs of 19.5 that I'll post up soon if anyone needs them.
Anyone have a Look SPX 10 they are looking to part with?
Looking for a harness and leash setup for my 3 YO if anyone is looking to part with one.
Willing to start a shit storm here:
Love that you're skiing with your kid! Teach them how to be totally independent , including carrying their own gear, getting up from a fall, responsible for their own speed, etc. Those harnesses are a menace and a crutch and don't encourage the skills necessary to ski. Stick with the beginner slopes, an edgie-wedgie (if necessary) and lots of gummy bears, marshmallows and (insert favorite candy here). No poles and no "pulling" as they are capable of learning how to skate (easier than the wedge based on physiology). Lots of flatland training to keep them off their own skis, e.g. clocks, wedge jumps, heel push outs, etc.

bullshit
edgie wedgies suck
the harness rules for picking them up
and the leash helps a bit at first but don’t depend on it for too long
I didn't believe in reincarnation when I was your age either.
I could see the harness thing, I guess... (but picking them up doesn't encourage and autonomy and I have waited hours (minutes) while they thrashed about railing against God and country. I would never go to the edgie first, but until they have the rotary movement down it can be helpful (and make for a better day on hill).

IMHO- leash around waist promotes leaning back and a crutch against balance. What worked awesome for me and my girls was attaching a single length of 10’ climbing strap to each boot with a carabiner. That way I could help steer and control their speed as needed. As a benefit, it forced them to learn to balance on their own from the get go. Not saying it is the way everyone should do it- just saying it made more sense to me and worked for my girls.

^Awesome. There is no perfect way. Maybe over simplified but the more they do it the better they get. Harness does not teach skiing but helped when I had to ski with two of them. Didn’t use it w my first but did w my second for a season. The handle does come in handy for lift loading and picking them up off the snow. Not every moment is “teaching” it is all about fun so aids have their place.

Yeah, there is a whole thread about how to teach your kid in the main forum. I’m just looking for a harness.
Appreciate the tips from others on the ankle trick. Makes sense.
We are in “this is a fun family activity” phase not “let’s have a battle over getting up” phase. I’ll cross that bridge when we get there.
Thx.
