One thing that gives me some hope is that it seems that it's Putin against pretty much the entire world! Doesn't seem to have much external support. And if he's having this much trouble on one front, there is a 0% chance he could defend the entire, gargantuan country in case the whole world goes on the offensive against him. Nuclear could be his only option to 'win' and if THAT happens, there will be no winners. It's game over. Feels eerie being on the cusp of another Cold War.

On the bright side, if Russia doesn't go that route, it would be SO easy to utterly crush them peacefully via global marketplace. North America can dominate the energy front. Obviously we can and do supply arms too being the merchants of war that the MIC is.

If only allowed to, we can easily supply Europe with everything they could possibly need. Except hookers perhaps. Seems Russian mobsters have always had the market cornered on that one.

I don't think it can be underestimated how much of an impact the regular disclosing of intelligence leading up to the invasion had. If the narrative had been set by a successfully executed false flag operation, you would have half of the US supporting the invasion. The Germans would have had cover to continue down the path of dependence on Russia, etc... I think we would be seeing a very different dynamic play out if the dominant narrative had been successfully defined by Russia. And they were trying to do it, but we preempted them each step of the way by disclosing our intelligence.
