    22/23 gear rumors

I don’t like ON3P, every pair I’ve skied is shit and you won’t be able to convince me otherwise. I don’t get the hype behind them out side of small brand doing something niche.

Bandit, at that weight I’ll stick with my MB116c and grab a pair of WC Tour 108s. I do wish K2 would make the MB108 (orA106C) with no metal in a 193. That would be my unicorn touring ski.

Every ON3pEe fan boi just felt a ripple in the force, squawked the alarm and are grabbing the pitch forks…

Have you considered the Rossignol Soul 7? It is the Pinnacle of ski design and performance.

They would give you the thrill you can't seem to find on ON3P skis. You know, that thrill that you haven't had since the time you found those hustler magazines in the back of your older brother's closet when you were still young enough you thought that sensation meant you were going to pee.

You'll be so excited by them you'll likely break out in a song and dance number in front of the lodge too. Likely a Queen or Journey song. Those are classics for public places.

Hell, you'll have a few ladies looking your way on Soul 7s too. They can't resist a real man riding a real ski. Not some sissy nanny little bitch boy on ON3P's. You won't need that Christian mingle account anymore either, bro. Just delete it now. Trust me.

Be sure to check back in with some candid nudes of your lady friends for the ullr thread. We need more snow for all the whiteclaw drinking Billygoat riders out here that can't handle the Excalibur of skis.

Steamboat obviously. Better start with a quad latte and the stair master to get properly trained.

One of the best ski mountaineers I’ve toured with, dude Carl in Seattle, loves the Soul 7 for spring touring.

I’m going to be nice and say “ok bud.” What ever you think is cool, keep at it!

    What the fuckin fuck???
What a completely laughable name for one of the most straightline oriented skis on the market. No wonder Candide left Faction.

The 109 could be a replacement for the BMT 109 which is well loved and discontinued.

SNAP!!! Hadn't heard the 109 was discontinued. Maybe I should start being nicer to mine so they last a little longer. Where is Volkl going in that area? VW Katana?

I dunno, for as much hate as ON3P gets, they've gotta have something going for them considering how many athletes & Freeriders are on their skis.

I think it is kinda strange that people confuses reacting to how something is said to reacting to what is being said. I mean, how can anybody possibly be annoyed at such a nuanced and finely articulated point?

Good thing we have the skiing giants that is Kästle right?

Squaked! That actually made me laugh.

As for fan boiiery - which I think is fine btw, we all have stuff that makes us more stoked than others - the Dynastar thread with its MFree108 praise is leading that race for the time being imho. No wonder, it is a fine ski - if perhaps not the holy grail to all skiers.

no wonder - after all, it remains the pinnacle of ski design!

All kidding aside, they have sold a shit ton of them and they made lots of people ski better, so if not the best ski ever for the most chargy crows, it still made a lot of folks happy.

hm, sad news. Not surprising with a steep increase in price in carbon due to Covid making an expensive ski even more expensive. BMTs are freaking great skis though. I have a back up pair of 122s, so might find a pair of 109s as well. 90s seem to be still on offer.

No 90's listed in the catalogue I have, but I see them in the picture above. Strange.

The only V-werx skis in the catalogue are the mantras and Katana's.

I don't recall reading about the Dynafit Black Light TLT X boot here yet? From Wildsnow Backlight pro ski review. Teaser boot pic at the bottom of the article. https://www.wildsnow.com/30637/dynaf...ew/#more-30637

Not too much to share at this point but I will say it will be an all new shell aimed at the narrower side of things. We will have fixed cuff and walk mode versions and so far its skiing really well. In my opinion its already skiing better than the existing boots and we have some way to go with it still.

From that YouTube video and trying Google Translate, sounds like (maybe) mini machine is 109mm at the waist. Also heard the word "light, very light" in english. That's about all I picked up, the translation was not very comprehensible other than picking up numbers. They mention "kilo" but not sure how it's used.

Watching now, I’ll add what I can understand:

Looks like a lineup of 4 skis
    91mm Mini, 1.4kilo
    99mm Micro, 1.6kilo
    109mm Mega
And the original, now called le max

Free-Rando - Free touring, not touring specific

They want it light but with a different philsophy
Long rocker, progressive rocker along the entire length tip and tail
    Very playful and fun

Correct It will be a new K2 FL3X boot. We will have both fixed cuff versions, perhaps with a tech toe only like the Krypton TI or the new K2 Recon Team and we will have walk mode versions with full tech inserts like the lupo for example.
