For whatever reason, the films and influence of Peter Bogdanovich always flew under my radar.
I saw The Last Picture Show a long time ago, but have no recollection of it.
Last year I re-watched Paper Moon, which I had previously only seen in bits&pieces on late night TV. It was fantastic. Then I checked out Bogdanovich's oft maligned Nickelodeon, which had its moments.
I just learned that he passed away earlier this month (I was without internet from 12/24 - 1/20).
In tribute I watched What's Up Doc? the other night.
WOW!!!
What a great film.
