So glad they found a good home

Officially an ON3P fan boy. After 4 days of spring December corn on the woodsman’s and 3 days of resort lapping on the jeffs there is really something about those bamboo cores!

That Dazzle Camo looks so sick! Was tough for me to hold off on it. Welcome to the fan boy club.

Question on mounting point of BG 189. I tried to use the same mount for a smaller bsl boot that puts me about 6mm forward of the mark on the sidewall. I skied these half a dozen days last winter and felt like they were bossing me around a bit. I'm a typical PNW backseat beater on P-15's and older RX-130 boots. Should I go ahead and re-mount or will it make much difference? Photos for reference.Click image for larger version.

I would think 1/2cm would be undetectable on snow. Even with RES.

X2. I ended up ~.5 cm forward on my 189s and haven't thought about the mount point since. Getting out of the backseat will make a way bigger difference to the OP's Goat experience.

If you aren’t on top of the 189’s they can man-handle you, especially if you are prone to ride the backseat. What is your height and weight?

5'8" and 190lb. I'm not the greatest skier but can usually keep up.

Most people (myself included) can't notice 6mm on a mount point. I would go ahead and leave them there though so that I could blame that when I suck.

I’m about your same size (I’ve got 10-lbs on you). Your weight should help you stay on top of those. I’m guessing it’s your stance.

    oh for crying out loud.

I was so satisfied with my ability to talk myself out of needing those custom softer Wren110pros during the Factory Finds sale this summer. I have even kicked myself a bit this week for not getting them. But now they are back on offer... Fuck. Must resist!

I am consolidating my quiver around skis in the 182ish length, so I def do not need a 186 charger, but...

Damn you Iggy - I have enough tough choices to make in the quiver consolidation process as is!
