Yeah, well, I always say, if you want to fix shit in this country, bring back the draft. That'll make kids drop the controller and pay attention.

My dad was engaged to a Norwegian lass in Oslo once and broke her heart.

I actually agree, but we're just pissing into our depends.

Oh, and that painful childhood thing? I consider the serious discomfort to be a critical part of growing up, within obvious limits (missing a school year generally is manageable). Those that are shielded from such disruption have a tendency to be jerks.

Pre-existing conditions are a lot of things. Some pose more risk for covid than others.

The CDC breaks it down for you.

BTW This far into the pandemic shouldn't spell correct stop redlining "covid"?

MF didn’t need to make a point that was made by the CDC in the first couple months of the pandemic.

I’ll wait. Or will this be like in polyass where you couldn’t defend your posts so you ran away and stayed quiet.
This may be a profound statement for you, but sometimes normal people on TGR post in a thread....and never look at that thread again. Its not all about one big circle jerk online argument that you apparently live for. Take a lap. You should have been banned long ago.

My part time neighbors who work in the public school system in Massachusetts say a lot of kids are really fucked up from missing a school year. The parents had to work or are never really around anyways. They needed the consistent structure. There is a lot more behavioral issues now then prepandemic.
But if the parents were there for their kids during this time, it hasn’t been that big of a deal. Of course the parents that went overboard and wouldn’t let the kids out of the house,Those kids probably got fuck up too. Especially if they live in the virtual world instead of the real one.

Man whose wife won a lawsuit to treat his COVID-19 with ivermectin has died

Keith Smith, whose wife had gone to court to have his COVID-19 infection treated with ivermectin, died Sunday evening, a week after he received his first dose of the controversial drug.

    He was 52.

    https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/...es/6498445001/

He had a couple doses of the dewormer but then got worse so the prescribing doctor (who they brought in to give the medicine since the hospital doctors were not willing to prescribe something that doesn’t work) stopped the ivermectin.

When asked if he was vaccinated his wife wouldn’t say.

You can see the wheels turning on this one. I'm sure there are plenty who think he died NOT because ivermectin is ineffective, but rather that the doctor didn't stick with the treatment.

Or the delay in getting ivermectin as the courts wrestled with the idea of allowing patients to dictate what medications are to be given in an ICU

"Trust the plan!". This doctor and patient didn't believe enough. Only the faithful will be rewarded.

Not sure if this has already been posted or if this is the right spot for it but an interesting read on the county I reside in . I know a lot of the players in the article. Crazy how it ties to together so many of the issues we are dealing with locally.

Along with "rich second-home owner, himself a devout Catholic, called Joni Reynolds a “big, fat, ugly woman with a lot of power.” Really makes me want to be a devout catholic

My favorite quote of the whole article. Dude probably looked at his WWJD bracelet and thought, "Jesus would call her a big fat ugly woman". Or not.

You've never spent time down at the Knights of Columbus hall with your grandfather, I see.
