Haha! It’s been good to me so far. Love how much softer it is than my past Gore-Tex ones. Haven’t had it out on a seriously wet day yet though.

Picked this up on FB from Schweitzer's marketing manager, a friend of mine. This was from this morning's control work. This is the Lakeview triple and the bowl. C Chutes slid naturally overnight. Don't be in a hurry to get out and test your luck...

^^ Yeah, that works in the control area. Out the gates or in the surrounding area beyond the ski area boundary, though, will be dicey for awhile, I imagine.

These smiles never went away today. I think they actually just got bigger. What a day. Legs are spent, brain is still buzzing.
Silver was unreal today. Felt more like mid March than day one.

Convergence zones are sporty and the usual 6” donger groves are not covered up; 3rd gear skiing for sure. That said sunset was full on gas pedal!

One of my favorite runs in the entire world. Seriously tempted to head that way for the weekend. Expecting more snow by Saturday? Think it will still be good?

I feel I’d wait for one more good storm - if we get the 12-14” forecasted by Sunday should be prime. Skiing really well, though. Skied fat Pow all morning!

Whatup inland fam. Headed out to Schweitzer leading up to new years and was poking around fatmap. Do people hike up to Blue Mountain? Do you bushwhack down to Stellas or just hike back up to the little blue ridge run after a while?

It's been about a decade since I rode Schweitzer so I'm trying to remember my main spots, I recall most of the stuff north of the great divide being good, and then the trees near the south ridge being solid as well. Any other recommendations? Is parking at the bottom of musical chairs still an easy way to get the day started (and pick up pass at guest services)?

    Cheers!
