Know what else truly educated experts will do??? Walk back statements and decisions.. like they did a little over a year ago with mask recommendations.. And more recently they jumped the gun thinking with vaccinated people, we were mostly all safe in public spaces without masks.. for like a minute before they walked that back when delta proved there were still WAY too many unvaxxed folks being super careless... and that vaxxed people actually could shed the virus for a short period when breakthrough infected. We've tweaked the plan several times based in changing conditions.. and yes flawed assumptions.
