Please keep an eye out for the bike the Concord Police say it is likely to turn up from the transient population

Been having shoulder issues after a crash in April, rehab is not a straight line. So lots of indoor rides lately(ugh) but got out last night for a nice rip in the Fells. Click image for larger version.

2 1/8" of steady Eddy rain since yesterday afternoon bob. We really needed this soaker as any significant rain has been quick thunderstorm related all spring/summer. Unfortunately every possible muck hole, loose dirt areas are going to be spring like in their sloppiness. Looks like some damp gravel is in order or another Zwift session like today. Chance of rain all weekend, shuttlers gonna get wet around here.

That bike theft is fucking beat. Google street view shows the area looks ok and busy. Gotta be a pro thief to be so quick and bold.

No update. I called Concord PD and it hasn't turned up.
Take a pic of your bikes and record serial numbers.

Saw as many people as I've seen yet on a weeknight at Bethel Village Trails, apparently I wasn't the only one trying to get out before boarding the ark. It is impressive how well the machine-built stuff holds up in damp conditions, even though I prefer at least a moderate helping of old-school rocks and roots. I'm hoping that after the remnants of Elsa go through, things will dry back out enough to ride the less-manicured stuff without leaving ruts.

There’s a cool dichotomy between the Bethel Village side and the Gould side. Kylers is still a “must ride” but I’m certain it won’t hold up as well as the Village side after Elsa. I’m curious about some of the new trails going up around town. Ghost (???) I think it’s called is supposed to be rad but I can’t find info on it anywhere.

Ghost is up at the community forest, apparently it actually went in before the access issues got sorted out and they've just put in a connector to get there from the current system.

I prefer the Gould trails (well, Kylers and Race Loop, at least) in a lot of respects, but I'm a lot more willing to ride Double Helix in the damp. I need to get both my fitness and tech skills up a couple of notches for Leftside.

I also need to get out and ride Bacon, but it's so easy just to hit the in town stuff since I can pedal from home.

ID:	379280 Did a 70 miler east of Quabbin reservoir on dirt and road, and I’m completely shelled this morning. Lack of photos because I was too tired to take many, but Rutland, Barre, New Braintree, Petersham area has some incredible riding.

Props to Singlecross for beta on MDI riding, hikes and food. And a lovely boat trip around Bartlett island just before Elsa hit. My wife saw her first Bald Eagle.

Does anyone know of any decent trail riding on Cape Cod. We are based in Chatham and will have hybrid bikes for a week. Will hit the bike path up to get some exercise but also looking for some dirt to ride on.

Lots of dirt in Nickerson State Forest, and some lovely fire roads for rambling. Most of those little kettle ponds in the mid cape have trails around them. There is also a ton of trails and fire roads in the National Seashore to enjoy. I just make a route in openstreetmap and explore.

Cape is one of my favorite places to ride a gravel/cross bike—should be plenty of fun with a hybrid.

72* but 97% humidity today at 6am. Been a weird summer of super hot then thunderstorms. Trails aren’t bad but some horrible mud pits just won’t dry up w the humidity.

Started with some rail trail out to Devils Purse brewery for a day one. 23 mile round trip from the rental.

Plan to head up to Nickerson one day.

On my way here I saw a lot of potential fire roads and single tracks. Many near those ponds.

Great way to relieve myself of the extended family. My sisters love to bicker. I think it is their hobby.

    Pretty riding around here.
