I know I might be slightly in the minority, but I like the Bronco Sport. It seems like a really good vehicle for people who get outdoors a lot, but who aren't into off roading as an end in and of itself.

I do wish that they'd have hit the same towing as the Escape though, as the Bronco Sport is a bit too small for longer trips with the family, but with a little trailer might be fine.

Agreed. Truth is, it would satisfy the use case of 90% of peeps who ordered the Bronco.

    SWEET !

Nice ride. I test drove a Bronco Sport a week or so ago on my way home from the gym. Same color as yours. I liked it. Good vehicle for a college kid in Bozo.

    Quoted for truth.

While I was doing the test drive I was thinking to myself “why am I waiting a year to get a vehicle that will get half the mpg and really won’t do anything (that I do) better than this Sport will do ?” But, but, but... SASQUATCH.

Are you getting the 7 speed manual 2 door still Harry?

The idea that I could get a manual 4 door with the rear locker for under 40 is super attractive. If I needed it to daily I probably would but we are lucky enough to have an extra car...so it makes no sense to replace a depreciated 4R with something newer since it sits in the garage most of the time and runs good.

    Yes.

Mine is on hold due to “Commodity Constraints” and will be a 2022 model. Ford has guaranteed me that they will honor the 2021 price that I ordered.

I am getting a 2-door, 7MT, with the Sasquatch package. So lockers front & rear, Bilsteins, forged wheels, 35’s...

Here is spy photo of my exact rig in my color, Carbonized Grey Metallic.

Tits. I'm jealous, but a soft "hypothetical" was not well received by the wife today. I'll keep throwing them out every few months. Apparently I'm allowed to order one if I sell a cruiser but I can't do that. White man, first world problems are tough.

Also, we had an Expedition Max as a rental rig over the weekend. I just can't imagine how fast those Lil broncos are going to be with that motor in there!

And here I thought you were going 2 door base. That is bad ass. How does that calculate at highway speed? My first car was a 76' Chevette with the 'rally' package which was a 4 11 rear end mated with the 4 speed manual. Red lined at 15 in first gear and 85 in 4th. Fun little shit box till I blew it up.

Supposedly manual trannys and sasquatch package weren't going to be available. That change recently?

That is the 2022 part of his order. In the very beginning there was talk of no mansquatch, but that was a long time ago and long after Ford slated the combo for 2022 delivery.

I’m a 7/14 reservation, but the hardtop option is the only thing that stands between me and my Bronco. Hoping to get mine before Harry, but who the hell knows....

That makes sense, I had heard rumors Ford realized the error in their ways but that's rad you can actually order it now as well.

    But good luck.

You know the car market is tight when they can't even keep the Sport on the lot.

Yeah, salesman 2 isn’t going to miss a sale for salesman 1 without money down and a contract. Especially when there’s nothing else to sell. That sucks, hope you find another one.

Lovely wife is now interested in the 4 door Bronco.

I keep seeing photos of them without a rear mounted spare. I thought that was the only option, but maybe I'm wrong. Can you get an internal compact spare?

Well. You lose the opportunity for a TGR tire cover.

I’m no expert but based on Bronco forum threads some people will be leaving spare at home & carrying compressor and flat kit. Grocery getters.

You do get an extra 5" of backing up space at the Walmart without the rear mounted tire.

Does a "Daddy is buying me a brand new Bronco" brag count as a trust fund?

    This place is going soft.
