Wow, never heard (or even heard of) that! Jimi took that whole arrangement lock, stock and barrel (and ran/flew away with it)! That original even has the "Hendrix Chord" (7#9) there toward the end! Maybe it should be renamed the "Roberts Chord"!

Tina in her fine prime, Ike looking more than a little tweaky, and Todd with shot voice, giving this one more of a proto-punk reading. (He had a lot more vocal range, especially back in those youthful days. Must've been touring/partying a lot.)

Jorma Kaukonen is likely the most underrated rock guitarist.

Everyone knows Hendrix, Page, Clapton, Zappa, and on and on, but Kaukonen is relatively unknown and has an incredible spectrum of technique and impact on rock guitar.
