Yesterday, last day of 2020.....driving month old 2021 Tundra on highway coming home from skiing......big stone kicks up from dump truck up ahead...hits dead center of windshield leaves “bullet hole”....then precedes to crack out the entire width of windshield...

Oh well....figured it was a fitting end to the year.

Windshield getting replaced today.....good times. Money not well spent.

Haha. Yup. It USED to be the hallmark of a poorly done aftermarket tune. At least when on "normal" cars. Now it's trendy. I'm hearing those pops and crackles all over the place now. Kind of funny.

Posted to a local lost & found pets page. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Poor puppers! Hate seeing dogs riding on flatbeds but it happens all the time around here.




Found dog, fell out of the back of a silver truck with a flat bed carrying a brown horse trailer. Dog fell out at Umapine road, my husband tried to chase the car down but the woman driving seemed scared of my husband who was trying to wave her down. If anyone knows whose dog this is let me know. Very sweet, friendly. Has an orange collar, looks like maybe a Garmin tracker on it.

Remeber this post? Came off a local lost pets FB page. It was updated today and now I'm beyond annoyed I'm freakin' pissed off but hey... at least she'll find a home where she will be loved and not tossed out on the side of the road.

UPDATE: Thank you all so much for spreading the word about this sweet puppy. I am blown away by the number of times it was shared and how much everyone reached out to help. We did have the owners reach out to us and tell us they no longer wanted her and requested that she be rehomed. We are happy to report that this sweet doggy now has a new family who is very happy to have her. Thank you all again for your help

Yeah, I guess that's part of my issue. The fuel is supposed to ignite in the block not the exhaust! Not that this is what's happening now, it's just how I hear it. And we have a ton of people, many older, that walk the beach sidewalks and these things must scare the shit out of them. They're too loud and annoying. I hope my town creates an ordinance because 99+ percent of these people don't live here, so fuck them

My property taxes are due May 1st. I dropped off a check (dated May 1) at city hall last week. The tax collector mailed my check back to me (with the May 1 date highlighted) because they don’t like post-dated checks.

I’m going to drop off the same check tomorrow at 4:59 PM (or 1 minute prior to whenever the tax collector closes). They better take the check with the date highlighted!

I honestly didn’t even realize I post-dated the check. But, I gather one would want to post-date for cash flow purposes.

I’d need a truck to transport all the change needed to pay my exorbitant taxes. Heck, I think even paying in dollar bills would be a PITA for the tax collector. Good idea!

My backyard backs onto a field with some large trees. I saw someone had recently made a swing in one of the trees with a rope and an old tire. Saw some kids playing on it.

The second I noticed my first instinct was annoyance and I stared to wonder if I should cut it down now, or later when it's dark.

WTH is that shit? I've always been a fairly positive, live and let live type. What a weird initial reaction. I do not want to be that person. I will smile and wave every time I see people playing on it.
