That bimmer is awesome! I'm still madly in love with my e34 540i/6. I I have strongly considered a nice e38. That one is really nice.

I got a hundred pics in and there are a bunch of dings and scratches, cracked bumper covers etc. But it's badass.

Soup kitchen in the back seat. But yeah ... sexy otherwise.
To be fair, it’s not an iL, so should we care about the back seat?

I really like that there are still cars I've never heard about.
I have a 2006 e60 (550i) with ~90k that has been painstakingly maintained. It has been in FL for the past three years. By next month, I need to decide whether to bring it home to the mountains, or sell it. It is very difficult to give this car up

E36 550i does not compute. E60? Pretty sweet car if so, but those e60 are finicky (speaking from experience) and the n62 engine even more so (no experience with n62, but scared of them).

Fastest car I have driven in a long time.

720s? I have trouble keeping up with their lineup more than Audis in the early aughts as they all look alike.
Longtime soft spot for a fast modern Caddy. Let’s see em enter a V car in IMSA and I’m sold. Guy who lives next to the soccer field our kid plays games at on Saturdays has 2 CTSV WAGONS in his driveway.
One day after a game I’ll leave a sixer in appreciation.
They still get their love.
That ass and those wheels for example.

Man, me too. Was never a caddy guy but these Vs are an absolute hoot. Took my buddy’s out and felt like I was in the cockpit of a fighter jet. Add the ability to row some gears and it’s an experience.

Well said. I miss mine. Sucks that the prices have gone UP since I traded mine in years ago. Substantially...
Are they the best car? Not quite, but like you said, they're an "experience." Made for one helluva daily. Pretty unique feel to them and SOOOOO much fun to drive. I used to drive mine hard. "Woops. Missed my turn!" Turn the wheel, stomp the gas, and flip an overly-dramatic U-Turn. Felt like a luxurious Smokey and the Bandit experience. Haha. I want the wagon so freaking badly now, but alas. Can't find 'em cheap anymore.![]()
I always thought the ATS was a good looking car. Got good reviews too. In the v trim it had to be a riot.

GM really nailed the suspension tuning on those, by all accounts.
And that's why in my opinion GM can't build up a model line with any kind of consistency (with rare exceptions like the Corvette or it's full-size SUVs). Any time they nail one like the CTSv or ATS they kill it off after a relatively short model run and its successor is never named the same. You'd have to be a GM engineer or salesman to know the family history of any of their non-flagship models.

The head of Cadillac that was just fired did so much damage to the brand.
From moving the head office to NYC to changing up all the names. I have clue what he was thinking.
