You so sure about that? Cuz Ben Shapiro, an orthodox Jew and was 0% offended by her post, just hired her on Thursday. She's going to get to produce her own film now.

Wondering what happens next; replacement with a less wooden actor? Or simply eliminate her character entirely??
I'm most of the way through the first season, because my kid who thought it was the greatest thing ever insisted on it.
Eh. It's watchable. People used to call Star Wars a "space western", when in fact the original three films mashed up numerous genres including westerns. With this Mando series, though, they're (so far as far as I've watched) almost strictly focused on reprising westerns. Which would be okay, but when the two leading characters are (1) a guy encased in metal doing a flat Clint Eastwood impression and (2) a Disney merch plush doll who not only also has no facial expressions but no dialog either, it kind of sucks the air out of whatever drama there otherwise would be. But sure, there are worse things I could be watching than an amusing enough Seven Samurais tribute episode.
Wow.
Cruel shoes.
right after mando wraps up this fall, we get this:
edit: removing unofficial trailer.

You mean a fan made mash up of existing films?
It's a war of the mind and we're armed to the teeth.

IMO nothing beats this for Star Wars fan videos.

No, by genre mash up, I meant that the original SW incorporated elements of multiple genres.
Anyway, I finished the first season. I have to admit, there's some excellent plot-craft that went into this. I'm still rolling my eyes every time Baby Yoda appears, but it's some pretty decent action.
As for what's-her-name, yeah, of course Montucky buys the old but-I-have-Jewish-friend game to overlook direct evidence that she's a bigoted kook. May she have a great career making films with Ben Shapiro. Maybe she can appear in a Dinesh D'Sousa project as well.
My only complaint is that it was a little too convenient to have Boba Fett clear out before Luke showed up. The awkwardness of them seeing each other could have been really funny.
Overall pretty meh. Can't believe I made it through two seasons.
Were you stoned?

Halfway through Season 2 now. Definitely appreciated that the first two episodes of S2 included clever tributes to two classic ski films, Avalanche Sharks (ep1) and Ice Spiders (ep2).
I was high when I saw Gladiator in the theatre with friends, and we were super critical of the film and thought it was really bad. Weeks later, we were sharing our mutual criticism of the film with one of our mothers. (We’re all adults in this story). She looked at each of us and asked/stated, “you all were stoned when you saw it, weren’t you!?”

Much to my surprise (not a fan of earlier animations), really enjoyed the first episode!
Looking forward to moar!
^^agree!
There’s a new episode of Gallery up that gets into the de-aging effects in the season 2 finale. Pretty interesting
