yesterday was a beauty but bumps were mostly no-go firm.
by last chair the creamy groomers had gone full reef.
i was thus ready to call it a day.

Youch. Well, that was a harsh wake up call after the last three days.

Still no soup pics to be had but we were able to capture this rare and important image of a tele board quiver in action.

Tough one at the loaf, wind is the new snow in March here. Not every Saturday you can have a beer at the King Pine chair like this.

Whatever that thing is it goes with his overall theme of demanding performance from his equipment, just look at the big bore exhaust tip he’s rocking.....

It was a fine day for a mogul comp today. The bumps were of the solid, character-building sort. My kid is on the right, his competitor is on the left. Both in mid 3’s off the top jump. One of the cooler moments of the day.

My kid - but only because the other kid crashed. The other kid is a bad-ass. He even gave the coach a run for his money in a duel after the comp.

I was proud of my kid - he actually stopped his run to make sure the other kid was ok, and afterwards said “I really hated to win like that”. He is a good human [emoji106]

True. I get such a hard-on for anything Teleboard that all the blood must have left my brain.

Hit Garceau today expecting the worst conditions of the season. It had no right to be so good... They got like 3" of snow yesterday that somehow stuck to the thaw/freeze underneath. They're running the lifts till 4:30 now, I didn't even notice that I was on the chair at 4:15. First bell to bell day of the season was saved for what should have been an awful dust on crust day in March? Ok, whatever. But seriously, it was tons of fun.

Just don't stop till you get to St Donat!
