Amazing pow at the local hill today. Probably because the road getting up here was a shitshow (hopefully I don’t need a new transmission lol) and the viz is trash.

Touring with the PWL has been dicey this year, but I’m hoping the snow keeps coming for a while. Just replaced my 96-waist touring sticks for some 112s, so I need some powder to really test them out.

I helped justify the new purchase by saying I’m always the heaviest guy in my group on the skinniest skis, and I don’t want to be the one to trigger the slide.

    Looks like a cool event.
Common sense. So rare today in America it's almost like having a superpower.

    Oh my...
This storm cycle has been so good — best turns of the year to date in NFG with @2Funky at opening bell. Didn’t have to poke it all was amazeballs. Snow had a killer density that was WICKED surfy and was so smooth!!

I started a bit late and had to deal with the line. But still got face shots everywhere. Good day for sure.

Multiple face shots first two runs in Headwall at the Shwizz. Untracked and awesome! All day was great but those first two runs were epic.

It was a fun day at Silver! My face hurts from smiling too much as a result of the good company, fresh snow and fun times.

It was good to see 2F back on skis, and your welcome for untracked on NFG, Sunset was fantastic.

Good seeing you as well yesterday man! Lol, we were watching to see which way you guys went and no one dropped 1 so we promptly skated by some boarders and dropped it.

What is the best way to access Kalispell Peak for Backcountry Skiing in the winter? I stare at it during my job, and have long been interested in what the terrain/snow is like there.

I’ve always gone Tacoma creek road. Would love to know about other alternatives though.

I’ve got some friends in Chewelah who have skied it a few times, years ago. They took sleds in, but I have no idea what route. They said the skiing was ok, nothing special.

Probably dependent on conditions; that face looks fun.

Don’t waste too much time with that south face - unless it’s a high avy day (it looks nice from 49N, but it’s really flat). The N bowl is damn steep and holds snow late in the spring. This pic is from cinco de Mayo 2018.Click image for larger version.
