hnnnnnnggg today was killer, dogs are barkin

hah, ya i was, headwall was much more friendly. surprised overall how soft everything stayed with the pm sun. i hit puccis for food around 645 after a heathy number of 7-8 min laps and a few alder fights

That's funny--Headwall in the dark is exactly what comes to mind every time I think of headlights. And I'm stoked that alder fencing season is coming in. Very underrated season.

I had to drop in to thank TAFKALVS for offering acceptable trades to move the Loti along. I don't know if there are serious offers on the table, but it sure seems to have worked, anyway! Bring a little sticious, I almost started to blame the thread: I don't think we've landed The Niña properly since this thread started. But maybe there's hope.

Hell of a day at JackAss, best it’s skied in a long long while!

Got to load the gondy with @bourbonisgood due to a hook up from the instructor of the AIARE class at 7:45. We then fucked around under chair 1 for a bit before pulling up to Chair 2 for first chair!

NFG offered creamy windbuff for the first few laps. There is nothing better than untracked, mash-the-fucking-gas-pedal laps in those trees!

Hooked up with LVS, Shroom, and Steveski and dropped SOB for a proper mag gangbang.

Absolutely killer days. Couldn't have asked for more.

Will be buzzing for a long time from all the good laps.
Common sense. So rare today in America it's almost like having a superpower.

Killer weekend as everyone has mentioned. Storm skiing all day Saturday, followed by a bluebird (windblown) pow day on Sunday. I think I saw the supergoat guy on Saturday. http://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/60217d6a...IMG_1769~2.mp4

Fun weekend; great turns on Friday with wind resets, really good storm skiing Saturday, and wind resets again on Sunday. Unfortunately, skiing some tricky wind slab yesterday, almost crashed, pulled it out but popped my hamstring a bit while saving myself from wrecking. Boy, am I sore today. I hope this heals up pretty well before Friday or I may be out for the first time I can remember from an injury. I don't think it's too bad but it's definitely letting me know it's angry right now.

Schweitzer skied freaking awesome on the Colburn triple area Sunday. Sorry to hear about your hamstring Goldmember.

    ^^ Thanks.

Yes, Schweitzer was skiing really well. South Bowl chutes were just loading up and were super smooth turns. Really fun! Face under the old triple was really good first thing in the morning but got skied off fairly quickly. We were doing just a short run off the top of Sunnyside, Trial Run when I did my hamstring. Stupid thing to do there since it's basically flat and short. The wind slab in that area was about 2-3" thick and very breakable. I just got tangled up in it and, pop, ouch!

Pop scares me, maybe have someone check it out? Any bruising lower in the hamstring? When you flex hamstring any balling up?

No, no swelling, bruising, or balling up. And when I say pop, I mean I could feel it was to the end of its tension spectrum but I'm pretty sure I didn't rupture it or fracture the attachment point. I've had worse. It felt more like a tweak of the muscle than a rupture. I think I'll be fine, just uncomfortable for a bit.

I can flex it full range, no problem, just uncomfortable to sit on, mostly. I skied another four or five runs on it but was favoring it.

I know it’s going to be colder than Rupert Murdoch’s taint on Wednesday, but I’m skiing Jackass if anyone wants to meet up. I’ll be wearing a red jacket and orange boots.
