crab in my shoe mouth
Laughed at the narrative on that and nice open glades.
Re: the "fight" at Mount Snow, the dude that got body slammed was a skier and his bud was a boarder, Not sure what the big dude was riding, but seems like they turned it into yet another skier vs. boarder incident, Guess the ratings needed a boost.
Also getting some laughs from you guys going back and forth in the ski tech fracas,
Same held true at Plattekill in the Catskills yesterday. While you could tell at times the crust was lurking, the woods were skiing pretty well.
I've seen more fights or near fights in the 4 times I've skied at Mt. Snow than any other place I've skied in 50+ years...with the exception of maybe my only day at Huntah. Lotta rage pent up in Gotham apparently
Re: the fight at Mt Snow: cab driver in Steamboat told me that bar fights amongst Texans are way less frequent over the past few years.
I don’t get people sometimes. I’ve seen video of an employee at a gym getting shoved (over a mask) much less than that body slam....and the guy doing the shoving ended up with an assault charge. Pent up frustration or no....you are skiing, and life is too short/complicated to risk an assault charge over something stupid.
Skiing is fun
On the other hand, postholing 4-500' of vert with some over 45º, not so much
Family of airb'ers from the Shire high centered the minivan Friday night, lol

Not defending either guy as I have no idea what happened (other than "right in front of me" or whatever he was saying), but I am never not amazed at how many people, with at least a modicum of disposable income, can't understand concepts like "lines", "alternating", and "take turns."
I'm more of a "shaking my head" type guy, but I can see the devolution into a fracas happens.
It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.
I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.
A few more inches would be great [emoji106].

Gurging here in the groovyUV.
You sound like NJ Dave
I think by now we all know that you are the the guy that scream’s get off my lawn the loudest and just my opinion, it’s getting old.
Ski your secret Lines and drink your IPA’s
You seem to have built a great life for yourself but spending your time taking pictures of Subaru’s with out of state plates stuck in a ditch or people not as hip as you trying to enjoy being outside may be funny to the 6 other people on this forum but again that’s how Dave started and look how it turned out for him.
How'd it turn out for NJ Dave? Did he implode and go back to NJ?
Got no problems with vt freeheel...
Eta: can I gripe about EC ski sizing here while I'm at it?
The local Shops are trying to put my 6'1" 200lbs friend on a 177cm kenjo volkl. I'm recommending he doesn't ski anything shorter then a 182-185cm.
Why you guys ski such short skis?
Unless it's a slalom ski the Shortest ski I've ever owned was a k2 public enemy 179 for park.
Am I off-base and should embrace a shorter ski life or stick to my guns?
