I was gonna say: they sure do...my 15y/o tells me all about them.
It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

i’m jealous of the night ski pics, even if i wanted to lap night pow i’d have to be back at 8 or risk some kind of multi thousand dollar ticket. must be killing the big lighted operations like bromont and mss.

it’ll be fun to freeze my face to a cheap can again on the lift someday.

Jay Peak was advertising all lifts will run at 7:30, when I left our home to get on Metro for 8:00 am. Driving in my tele boots. Of course, Tram, Flyer didn't run. Hah ! Lots of skiers, many out of State, on the road, sucked in for "all lifts running" line.
I caught the third chair, on the Bonnie. Nearly a fight, when a bunch of snowboarders, joined their buddy at very the front of the line.
First few laps on the Bonnie were fun, groomed with 4-5 inches new snow, but high winds at the top, and moderate freezing rain on your goggles. Couldn't see shit, either, but at least the groomer was smooth. Just point the Wailers and go.

Skiing got more crowded with only the Jet and Bonnie running. If it hadn't been so windy, I was thinking of skinning to summit, from the Bonnie, to ski Vermonter. But it would probably have been scoured by the South wind.
A tourist, on the Metro (bunny hill) asked me how to get to Valhalla. I said, well, "you have to get to the summit first. Do you have skins? " . I got a blank stare for that .

4” of smoove creamy sugar this morning. So fun, arc and smear to your hearts content everywhere. Little mixing and goggle maintenance late morning. Had to get to work so didn’t mind that part at all.

wow didn't realize you had an 8pm curfew up your way.
i appreciate my sat nite lights more than ever (but NOT my night ski home mountain selling 600 tix per night after only selling 160 or so for past months) i thought the crowds were pretty bad already!

But the real question is what show was playing on your Walkman here, inquiring minds? I'm going with 10/28/77 [emoji41].

Solid work Aldo. Those 203's and 205's required some altitude.

I opted for afternoon rather than morning which was the wrong call. Instead of surfy sleet it was punchy wet heavy crap with a crust forming on top.

This is badass, but I'm old and those daffys with matching outfits, and huge straight as fuck skis, bring back memories. Surprised I'm not seeing neon zinc on the noses, must've been cloudy?

yup, largest (and i believe still growing) segment of physical media sales for years... and yes vinyl has an immensely wider dynamic range than red book audio. CDs top out at 22kHz; vinyl will typically run to 30k
and beyond. and with much better 3D imaging and depth.

ha! and back in the day those gatefolds were great for seed management

    Daffys
    And back scratchers

    That was some dangerous shit
    On 200+cm
    On a small kicker.

Kids today got it easy in the terrain parks

PS. As for vinyl, many classic albums are being remixed for digital. Mostly low end. Needle groove can’t handle the range
