Well today did not suck. I started the morning at hyak with a couple of human powered runs on the backside and one down the front under the chair, then made my way over to the north side of 90. Rolled in at about 9:20 to find empty lots, no lines, cold temps (10F at the base, 0F at the top of 2). Wind transport and avoidable debris were in effect. First (ever) runs down nash for me and it was just sick. The jong stoke was high, haha!

For Norse. Not great pics, but the best I could do. Stoke is difficult to capture when you’re solo.

    First ride up.... looks promising

SkiSeattle 2021. Legit 8+ at my house at top of QA and ongoing. Have to work but gonna skin around and ski everything I can find later. I love how this city just says “fuck it, we’re out, you guys are on your own”

Hoping for chair 2 laps tomorrow after work if I can make it through the gong show

Do I detect a lot of anger flowing around this place? Kind of like a pubescent volatility, some angst, a lot of I'm-sixteen-and-angry-at-my-father syndrome?

    fuck that noise.

Great day! So many people put in great spirits, dogs off leash. Found a few awesome pitches and street runs. Fun to get this once every few seasons!

    ^^ that's what it's about right there

Meanwhile, I90-WB is a parking lot. 15+ wrecks. Nothing to do but sit in my van and make my tea... maybe dinner here in a bit. Pretty f*cked. If anyone is thinking about heading back over tonight, go Blewett.

Alpental was tits today. Highlight was straight lining through elevator shaft into like 6 or 7 high-speed turns each one waist deep, snow blowing over both shoulders. Cold and deep. And half full lots. 10/10. Would do again.

Saw a couple other mags but was off cycle till halfway down my final lap. Legs are cooked.

Fun day lapping the lower mountain with no lines. The wind chill made the Armstrong ride miserable enough that my daughter was having none of the Chair 2 suggestions.

Deep Blower Pow, Meager lines, and Saturday. Pick any two, but all three, well that’s a rare hat trick.

Definitely cold AF but to be able to ski on Armstrong by T2B number 3 and then a reasonable 10 min line on ch 2 after the lines of last Sunday and this past Tuesday was a welcome treat.

Only a few shots because damn the hands got cold quick with gloves off

Just got back from Hyak, no lines whatsoever and dumping the whole time. Great day and still getting better. Had to leave before the inevitable i90 spin outs
