If you decide to go 191cm, I have a new pair I'm letting go.
Finally got a chance to ski the Enforcer 104 Free in the 191-cm length.
I feel like the 191 is the ski I wanted the 186 104 Free to be. They are just a little more stable at speed and a less locked into the radius of the ski, which is 19.5-m versus 18.5 on the 186-cm length.
Compared to the 191 Enforcer 110, the 191 104 Free is quicker edge-to-edge (not surprising) and feels like it just wants to go fast while still maintaining that Enforcer accessibility and forgiveness. the 191 104 Free is also more fun and energetic than the 191 110.
If you thought the 191 Enforcer 110 was a little to dead and not responsive enough, but still want that "Enforcer feel", give the 104 Free a try in the longest length. It is a very versatile ski...probably the most versatile of all the Enforcer skis, IMO.

^^^^ Yeah I'm just slightly disappointed in my 104's in 179. I'm on the 185/186 E93 and E110 but couldn't get the longer 104 when I bought. I'll be looking to swap them out here soon.
I have 93's--bought new in the wrapper. On a couple of warm days I've had them stick on flats. They're properly waxed--universal. The factory base grind. I'm used to skis sticking in the spring--I hate the feeling and usually finishes me for the day--but never in February. Has anyone else noticed a problem with the factory grind (they're dead flat btw) or is the problem global warming. I'm not looking for a spring structure because that will suck when it's cold, just wondering if a new midwinter grind would be better. If the problem is global warming what's the solution for that?
Are you still using plastic straws?
Could be the issue.

Haha, I’m same as above.
My Enforcer 104s were great right from the start. Good glide, no railing.
My wife just got new Santa Ana 104s and they look fine too.

I love big dumps.
So one vote for bad structure, 2 votes for global warming. Too bad--easier to fix bad structure. Guess I need to start recycling more.
Can you compare the E104F to the K108? Are those even in the same category?

Aside from being both being 10X width skis and both having a metal/wood/carbon layup, they feel really different.
Both are very versatile skis, but the E104F will appeal to a wider range of skiers. The Enforcer is well mannered and very accessible. It carves easily, handles a fairly high speed (but has a limit), and has a tail that can be broken loose easily. They are pretty good floaters in powder for a 104 waist and ski loose in deep snow despite the 18.5-19.5-m radius (mainly due to the generous rocker profile). The Enforcer also has a playful versus charger nature, which lends to its fun factor and versatility.
The Katana is just more or everything that the Enforcer is, except rocker. It’s noticeably stiffer, more damp, and just craves speed. It has a longer running length, but somehow feels as loose (I think looser than) the Enforcer in deep snow. I think the Katana rails harder than the Enforcer but this may be because it handles speed and variable conditions better. I don’t think the Katana has a speed limit...at least I haven’t found it yet...and I only ski the 184. The Katana has better float but needs a little speed to make that happen.
The Enforcer is the ski that Rossignol told people the Soul 7 was supposed to be in their marketing material. It is probably the best do-it-all ski out right now. That versatility just comes with the drawback of a speed limit and loss of top end stability. The Katana is a charger and one of the most versatile skis around that still warrants that title.

Thanks!

he called me a know it all prick. So fuck him, if he is not shit he can post video up and prove it.
again I would never have mentioned his skiing ability if he didnt mention anything about me and quote me while doing it. He struck first.......my OP on this thread was stating what I have found with the 4 new nordicas I have owned in the past 5 years.....
the boot thread isnt trolling its just stating knowledge against the OP about why stiff boots actually work well for well set up, competent skiers.
