Yup, I laugh every time I read it. To the nutz with a ski boot...ooouch. Next time she gets dragged by her hair.
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

I wrote a couple quick emails to the Summit email addresses conveying my gratitude for the parking security keeping sledders and snowshoers out of the lots eliminating the parking stress and adding to my ability to "get away" from the stresses of normal life. I got a near immediate response, saying they appreciated the feedback and planned to continue staffing those positions on weekends for the remainder of the "core" season.

I am really, truly happy that my adopted home mountain has actively tried to put my customer experience first, and adapted throughout the season, compared to the other ski areas. I think they are nailing it this year.

Good idea. I think I’ll do the same.

Silver Fir was skiing nice today. Those 4" did wonders for the hill. Tomorrow morning should be nice at Alpental.

Soft, fast, fun turns under the lights at Alpental. Snow exceeded expectations by a lot. Closed down the place with my 13 year old. Could have skied until 10...
